Hadith: Honoring One's Parents Especially One's Mother


📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: A man asked the Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam, “Who is most deserving of my good company?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, “Your mother.” The man asked, “Then who?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said “Your mother.” The man asked again, “Then who?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, “Your mother.” The man asked again, “Then who?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, “Your father.”

📖 Mu’awiyah Ibn Jahima RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Jahima came to the Prophet Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam and he said, "O Messenger of Allah, I intend to join the expedition and I seek your counsel." The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, “Do you have a mother?” He said 'yes'. The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, “Stay with her, for Paradise is beneath her feet.”

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Verily, Allah the Almighty will raise the status of His righteous servants in Paradise and they will say: "O' Allah, what is this?" Allah will say: "This is due to your child seeking forgiveness for you.""
