Poem: Don't Be Shy Of Being Among The Strangers.

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 From Allah's servants is an elite group of Muslims
Who strive to obey Him with patience and devotion,
Unafraid of being viewed as 'weird' or 'different',
Since they aim to worship Allah, not His creation.
~*~
Among those strangers/ghurabaa are faithful women
Who value hijab for Allah, wear modest clothing,
Avoid selfies, modeling, and lavish adornments,
Because their loyalty is to Allah, not fashion.
~*~
When onlookers laugh at them while outdoors or shopping,
Or when they're criticized by those rich in ignorance,
These loyal allies of Allah stay tough and patient.
People's insults just strengthen their faith and confidence.
~*~
They're not like most who depend on antidepressants
Whenever they encounter gloom or stubborn mood swings.
They rely on Allah, find rest in Qur'an reading,
Learning Islam, saying Dhikr and supplications.
~*~
Not the clingy type, they don't mind having few/no friends,
As they're content loving Allah more than anyone,
Contented with sincere good deeds as their companions
To accompany them when their journey on earth ends.
~*~
Aware of the fact they're humans with imperfections,
These striving souls rush to Tawbah when they err or sin.
Battling their desires doesn't stop them from teaching
What they know of the Deen, as responsible Muslims.
~*~
It's a blessing if you see yourself not fitting in
Based on society's standards or expectations.
Thank Allah you're from the few who receive His Guidance,
Chosen to serve Allah. Be grateful you're different.

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Islam began as something strange and it will return to being strange, so glad tidings to the strangers."
