Poem: It's Not Your Fault If You're Disliked By Certain People

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 At times in this dunya, you’ll meet some people who loathe
And resent you instantly even though they don’t know
Your history, background, what makes you tick, laugh and grow.
These are souls whom Allah didn’t choose to get along.
~•~
To some foes, you’re not good enough; to others, too much.
Some haters’ indifference stems from feeling jealous,
Others’ grudges form when they fear you’re too religious,
Or how you seem on the outside makes them suspicious.
~•~
It’s not your fault if you’re disliked by certain people.
You were born to serve Allah, not to be likable
By Allah’s servants who got their own flaws and struggles.
For how they treat you and others they’re accountable.
~•~
It’s normal to not like someone who differs from you,
Whose bad vibes or motives clash with your good attitude,
And who envies your life because they’re too insecure.
Don’t let their sadness cause your inner peace to reduce.
~•~
Know that Allah’s Prophets had enemies of their own.
So avoid self-doubt when ex-friends want you left alone.
We still have Allah Who knows us before we were born,
And to Allah we’ll return, in Jannah our true home.

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu ‘anhu narrated: Allah’s noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, “Love whom you love mildly, perhaps he will become hateful to you someday. Hate whom you hate mildly, perhaps he will become your beloved friend someday.”
