Poem: Patience With Those Who Hate Us

πŸ’ In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
πŸ’Œ Even the best of all souls, the Prophet Muhammad
SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa sallam was hated
By polytheists, unbelievers and hypocrites,
Despite the Prophet’s kindness, courage and truthfulness,
While he was loved by Allah, His Angels, and Prophets.
~•~
No matter how much light you emit in the darkness
And in spite of sincere efforts to stay authentic,
Some haters find reasons for you to be detested,
Either they loathe you because they’re intensely jealous,
Or having different goals is what triggers conflict.
~•~
To those fortunate to know you well, you’re a genius.
To critics, you’re an oddball, possibly autistic.
If you’re thick-skinned, often making rational choices,
Your friends consider you decisive or courageous,
While strangers guess you’re ruthless, a selfish narcissist.
~•~
You may appear to be scary to some teens or kids,
Yet you’re kind and loving to your nephews and nieces.
Your toughness intimidates those very sensitive,
While that same confidence makes strong types motivated
To work harder, be helpful and cooperative.
~•~
People’s hate doesn’t cause Allah’s Love to diminish,
So long as Allah loves you and by Him you’re guided.
Maybe numbers question you because you’re that complex
And they haven’t decoded your special value yet.
Don’t fret. Keep serving Allah, not those He created.
~•~
Note: Regardless of how many times you’re insulted,
Falsely accused, or by opponents you’re rejected,
Remain firm for Allah. Refuse to feel dejected.
With Allah guiding you, you’re not lost nor defeated.
Emergence of ex-friends shows humans can’t be trusted.
~•~
So don’t trust confused emotions, negative mindsets,
And acquaintances who relish abhorrent gossip.
Depend on Allah Only Who keeps you protected
From misguidance and foes who assume you’re incorrect.
Allah already picked souls who speak your soul’s language.
