Poem: Some Advice To The Brokenhearted

πŸ’ In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
πŸ’Œ Some words of advice to comfort the brokenhearted,
Souls who can't forget those who got them disappointed,
Whether friends or loved ones who couldn't feel connected,
Or people they loved with a love that was one-sided.
~•~
Welcome to Dunya where we're supposed to be tested,
With all sorts of traps around us to have us tempted,
Strong faith/Imaan and Taqwa can keep us protected
From what can cause our hearts to become deviated.
~•~
As Allah loves us more, more exams will be added.
Don't assume a tough life means by Allah we're hated.
Expect to meet some souls whom we may find attractive,
Or worldly goals by which the crowd is captivated.
~•~
As trials increase and by fitna we're surrounded,
We must trust Allah more and pray our hearts are shielded.
Persevere lowering our gaze whenever needed,
Control our emotions and know when to be quiet.
~•~
Have our circle of close friends carefully selected,
Making sure they're well, guided, and appreciated.
To helpful advice and remarks be well-receptive,
With a heart rich in gratitude that can't get jealous.
~•~
The Decree that Allah gave us must be accepted
With a lot of patience and Du'as supplicated.
Allah's Mercy is greater than that of our mothers,
So accept the truth that what Allah gives is what's best.

Jannah Inn-sha-Allah is the place where we can rest,
After striving to pass Allah's temporary tests.
In Jannatul Ferdaus we can find joy that's perfect.
So stay firm. With Allah, our hearts can always get fixed.
πŸ“– Umm Salamah RadhiAllahu anha narrated: I said, “O Messenger of Allah (SallAllahu alaihi wa sallam), you often supplicate saying: "O Turner of the hearts, affirm my heart upon Your religion." (Allahumma yaa Muqallib al-quloob thabbit qalbi 'alaa Deenik.) Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu alaihi wa sallam responded, “O Umm Salamah, there is no human but his heart is between the Hands of Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala. Whoever He wills is made steadfast and whoever He wills is deviated."
Mu’adh RadhiAllahu anhu recited the verse, “Our Rabb (Allah), do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us.” (Qur'an 3:8)
