Poem: As A Muslim, Don't Be Rude And Insecure.

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 Don't question your self-worth when strangers treat you rudely,
When your salaams are ignored though you said them clearly,
And you receive scowls when you're trying to be friendly.
The problem's with them; they're full of self-hate or envy.
~•~
Confident souls that glow with sublime inner beauty
Don't roam around bullying and forming enemies.
With hearts that don't keep grudges, bad vibes and jealousy,
They treat others with fairness and basic courtesy.
~•~
Speak, and they won't roll their eyes, but listen carefully.
Slip or fall, and they won't laugh, but grant help if you need.
If you're mistreated, instead of staring silently,
They'll defend you or bravely confront childish bullies.
~•~
Rude clowns in contrast gloat in their insecurities.
Their hatred of themselves manifests through being mean,
Maltreating those who threaten their tiny self-esteem.
Their lack of manners stems from ignorance of our Deen.
~•~
Next time you meet someone who treats you impolitely,
Pity them, understand that inside they're unhappy,
Likely jealous they're unlike you - you thrive morally,
Guided by Allah to treat everyone humanely.

📖 'Ali Ibn Abi Talib RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah’s noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, “A Muslim has six rights over another Muslim in good conduct: To greet him with peace when he meets him, to respond to his invitation, to respond to his sneeze, to visit him when he is sick, to follow his funeral prayer when he dies, and to love for him what he loves for himself.”
