π In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
π If you have a habit of praying Qiyaam Al-Layl
And frequent Tahajjud keeps you at peace from inside,
You know what it feels like to miss it on certain nights,
Like you're missing something though you pray Fajr on time.
~•~
The distress in missing out on Tahajjud's blessings
Is more than missing your flight, exclusion from meetings,
And dismissal from a long-awaited appointment.
You wonder, "What did I do that kept me from praying?"
~•~
That's one way to know if you're close to Allah or not,
When most would sleep while Allah inspires you to wake up
To find comfort in Him (Allah) through heartfelt Du'as,
And Qiyaam Al-Layl is more calming than casual chats.
~•~
Perhaps when you sleep longer, when you fail to get up,
And you face the day with some bit of guilt in your heart,
You're reminded you're human, you get tired and whatnot,
And you're trained not to disdain those not righteous enough.
~•~
So thank Allah for His favors, honor His Mercy,
Do good deeds sincerely for Allah consistently.
When shaytan wants you to view Allah negatively,
Stay firm, as a Muslim, at least you pray and believe.

π Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Our Lord (Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala) descends to the lowest heaven in the last third of every night, and He says: 'Who is calling upon Me, so that I may answer him? Who is asking from Me, so that I may give him? Who is seeking My Forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?'"

π Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Allah the Almighty said: 'Whoever shows hostility (enmity) to a righteous friend of Mine, I have declared war upon him. My servant does not grow closer to Me with anything more beloved to Me than the obligatory duties that I have imposed upon him. My servant continues to grow closer to Me with extra good works (nawaafil deeds like praying Tahajjud and fasting Sunnah fasts) until I love him. When I love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask something from Me, I would surely give it to him. Were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant it to him. I do not hesitate to do anything as I hesitate to take the soul of the believer, for he hates death and I hate to disappoint him.'"

π Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The first action for which a servant of Allah will be held accountable on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayers. If they are in order, he will have prospered and succeeded. If they are lacking, he will have failed and lost. If there is something defective in his obligatory prayers, then Allah the Almighty will say: 'See if My servant has any voluntary prayers that can complete what is insufficient in his obligatory prayers.' The rest of his deeds will be judged the same way."
