Poem: Fear Allah The Almighty More Than The Evil Eye

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 Immense fear of the evil eye shouldn't become shirk.

It mustn't cause a person to behave like hermits

Who dread socializing, selfishly hide all their gifts,

And seldom share what they can give to remain shielded.

~•~

Strong faith and much trust in Allah are what can protect,

Along with morning and night Adhkaar frequently said,

Dhikr to start the day and before going to bed,

And doing one's best to avoid what Allah forbids.

~•~

The evil eye is real, yes, it can impact badly.

It's often the reason behind broken families,

Divorce, depression, failed projects, abnormal fatigue,

And it can lead close friends to hate each other greatly.

~•~

Shielding yourself and your blessings isn't in keeping

Them confidential when they can be inspirations.

If Allah granted you creative skills or talents,

Use them for Allah and to call people back to Him.

~•~

So you are not susceptible to the evil eye,

Do all good for Allah, not for His slaves to admire.

Guard yourself with Adhkaar and Du'as each day and night.

Allah controls all things is something we don't deny.

📖 Ibn Abbas RadhiAllahu 'anhuma narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu' alaihi wa sallam said, "The evil eye is true. If anything could outrun the decree (Qadr/Destiny), it would be outran by the evil eye. When you perform a ritual bath, wash well."

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Take up your shields." They said, “O Messenger of Allah, is the enemy present?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "No, rather your shields from the Hellfire are to declare the Glory of Allah, the Praise of Allah, there is no God but Allah, and Allah is The Greatest. (Say 'SubhanAllah', 'Alhamdulillah', 'Laa ilaaha ilAllah', 'Allahu Akbar') Verily, they (Adhkaar) will come on the Day of Resurrection as saviors and guardian angels, and they are the ‘righteous deeds everlasting.’" (The Noble Qur'an 18:46)

📖 Ibn Abbas RadhiAllahu 'anhuma narrated: I was riding behind the Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam when he said to me, "Young man, I will teach you some words. Be mindful of Allah and He (Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala) will protect you. Be mindful of Allah and you will find Him before you. If you ask, ask from Allah. If you seek help, seek help from Allah. Know that if the nations gathered together to benefit you, they will not benefit you unless Allah has decreed it for you. And if the nations gathered together to harm you, they will not harm you unless Allah has decreed it for you. The pens have been lifted and the pages have dried."
