Poem: Careful Of Hypocrites Who Claim To Be "Muslims" But Don't Truly Believe Yet

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Like before during the time of Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam),
There are hypocrites these days who aim to cause chaos,
Who carry out wicked acts to spoil Islam's image,
Who trigger fitna so the Ummah gets divided,
Claiming they're "Muslims" but they don't really believe yet.
~•~
From the actions of their likes are: Telling lies a lot,
Using fake names while their life narratives are made-up,
Trying to dress like Muslims with the hijab, niqab,
And abaya, and for men with the Islamic cap,
Thobe, turban, long beard, accompanied by other props.
~•~
Females from among them could set up YouTube channels
To post vids and inspire fans to do what's unlawful,
From being immodest or overly material
To making polygyny and marriage seem awful,
Inspiring the naive to later discard the veil.
~•~
Males from among them may call themselves "sheikh" or "mufti",
Issuing verdicts and inventing rules to mislead,
Changing "haraam" to "halal" when Allah's Laws are clear,
Promoting bid'ah in the name of modernity,
And seeing those who love the Sunnah as "lost" or "weird".
~•~
Regardless of gender, hypocrites often do these:
They knowingly lie, can't attempt to be trustworthy,
They make promises to break them deliberately,
They betray and steal as if Allah can't hear nor see,
And they rejoice when Muslims deal with difficulties.
~•~
They know little about Islam, don't bother praying,
And if they do "pray", then only when there's an audience.
They say Dhikr strictly when there are Muslims hearing,
They share Islamic posts yet they seldom act on them,
And when the Muslims fast, behind the scenes they're eating.
~•~
They're like spies or trolls within Muslim communities,
Aiming to disturb harmony when the chance is seen.
Much news against Islam may be caused by their deceit.
Ask Allah that He protects us from hypocrisy
And He grants us insight to spot hypocrites. Ameen.
