Note: The Importance Of Being Careful When Choosing Your Close Friends

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

🗒️ "...and the Muslim, when he/she befriends righteous companions, then he/she does not hear from them anything apart from what is good, and they do not enjoin upon him/her to do something but that which benefits, and they do not help him/her in something except in obeying Allah the Almighty, and they do not scold him/her except to correct a mistake so they can all improve together as Muslims, and they do not prevent him/her from anything but that which is evil and wicked.
By accompanying the pious, one is protected from listening to backbiting, rumors, slander, making fun of people, unfairly judging Allah's servants and instantly suspecting others.
Through befriending the righteous Muslims who sincerely strive to please only Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala, you attain encouragement to do good deeds and seek only what is virtuous.
If you befriend, o' believer, someone who respects their parents, then they will also inspire you to respect your parents. If you befriend someone who strives to maintain good ties with their relatives, they motivate you to uphold kinship with yours. And if you befriend somebody who loves to help the people, particularly those who are in need, then they encourage you to do the same. If you befriend a Muslim who enjoys seeking authentic Islamic knowledge, he/she pushes you to enjoy learning more about Islam similarly. If you befriend one who is a dedicated worshipper and who prefers to live an ascetic lifestyle, you become inspired to worship Allah the Most Loving more and appreciate simplicity likewise. And so on and so forth.
If you befriend the pious, they try to urge you to do good and protect you from doing what is harmful for your soul."
📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "A man is upon the religion of his best friend, so let one of you look at whom he befriends."
