π In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
π Three signs that you're actually confident, even if you sometimes feel "awkward", "misunderstood", or "inadequate" in certain situations:
1] You're not afraid of solitude or doing something on your own, while trusting Allah the Almighty at all times.
πΉ e.g. when you're with a group at a restaurant or social gathering and you are capable of going to the CR without requesting anybody to accompany you, when you can fearlessly approach a person without habitually asking somebody to deliver your message on your behalf, and when you can confidently answer questions or actively participate in a meeting or class even if you're the only one who's mostly active.
2] You can be stubbornly persistent concerning your values, decisions, and beliefs, unaffected by criticism, disapproval, and mockery.
πΉ e.g. when a Muslimah decides to keep her niqab and hijab even if her loved ones disapprove her choice to be modestly dressed, when you can unapologetically wear the same outfit you wore in the previous week without being conscious about what fashionistas will think, and when a Muslim's non-Muslim acquaintances frequently go on dates while he is contented about not having a girlfriend as he'd rather wait for lawful marriage than be guilty of zina.
3] "Determined", "resilient", and "persevering" are some adjectives which describe you well. You're not a quitter. Disappointments, rejections, slip-ups, misunderstandings, and challenging moments are opportunities to develop yourself, strengthen patience, and learn from previous errors to avoid intentionally repeating those mistakes in the future.
πΉ e.g. when you got scolded by your employer on one afternoon, or you had to cope with a supposedly embarrassing incident, and you're still courageous enough to show up the next day, instead of being cowardly absent; when you can maintain courtesy with an acquaintance who recently unfriended you on Facebook rather than acting insecurely unfriendly; and when you continue doing a good deed which you believe pleases Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala despite not receiving visible support from family and friends. It is sufficient that Allah the Most Loving rewards you for what you strive to do sincerely for His sake.

π Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The strong believer is more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, but there is goodness in both of them. Be eager for what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not be frustrated. If something befalls you, then do not say: 'If only I had done something else.' Rather say: "Allah has decreed what He wills." Verily, the phrase ‘if only’ opens the way for the work of shaytan."
