Poem: Live Life To Worship Allah And You Won't Stay Depressed

πŸ’ In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
πŸ’Œ While it's normal to feel sad every once in a while,
Choosing to stay depressed and ignoring the bright side
Could show that you dislike what Allah decreed and likes,
Unaware that life's a test, not all of our desires
Can be acquired. Real bliss is in Jannah Paradise.
~•~
The type of sadness which brings shaytan complacent smiles
Occurs when some Muslims display they're unsatisfied
With Allah's Qadr/Decree, they want an "easy" life,
Free from responsibilities, no stress day and night,
Or they hate Allah's tests and long for other souls' lives.
~•~
The kind of misery which makes shaytan widely smile
Is sorrow felt with denial of the truth combined,
When some Muslims doubt Allah's Mercy once loved ones die,
Or they're doubtful of Allah's Justice if they surmise
How it's unfair they're not rich while strangers enjoy life.
~•~
Learn about shaytan, know what this enemy is like,
And disappoint him whenever he tries to advise.
Like a self-serving coach he'd scold you with spiteful lies,
"They've got better lives. No one likes you. Kill yourself. Die.
No use in living if you're tired in all days and nights."
~•~
To defeat him, live to worship Allah day and night.
Fulfill your main purpose. Pass Allah's tests with a smile,
Patient with Allah's choices, grateful at least you tried.
Despite many falls and obstacles patiently rise.
Do Tawbah and ask Allah to help you win this fight.

πŸ“– Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Nothing afflicts a Muslim of hardship, nor illness, nor anxiety, nor sorrow, nor harm, nor distress, nor even the pricking of a thorn, but that Allah will expiate his sins by it."

πŸ“– Sa'd Ibn Abi Waqqas RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, which of the people are most severely tested?” The Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "They are the prophets, then the next best (in terms of piety/righteousness), then the next best. A man is put to trial according to his Deen/religion. If he is firm in his religion, his trials will be more severe (challenging). If he is weak in his religion, he is put to trial according to his strength in religion. The servant will continue to be put to trial until he is left walking upon the earth without any sin."
