Poem: Seven Signs That Indicate Jealousy In Friends Or Acquaintances

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Seven warning signs or red flags your "friend" is jealous,
Things to watch out for to spot someone who's envious,
So you can take a step back, ensure you're protected
From confiding in disguised foes who conceal hatred
And who'd celebrate if your image is demolished:
~•~
One: With tips and compliments they're absurdly selfish.
Seeing you in a good mood makes them feel discouraged.
Two: They expect you to support their works and projects
Yet when it comes to your goals, they're so unsupportive.
Attempts to connect with them prove the bond's one-sided.
~•~
Three: When talking to them, the usual discussed topics
Involve their dear selves, their problems, plans and tasks they did.
When it's your turn to speak, they'd ditch you or go quiet.
Four: They joke at your expense, laugh when you're embarrassed,
And seldom defend you when you're hurt or insulted.
~•~
Five: To inflate their ego or sense they're accomplished,
They copy your style not so rapport is established
But to steal your joys through being too competitive.
Six: They sulk when by others you're congratulated.
Not once you got from them "Congrats!", "Mabrook!", "You've made it!"
~•~
Seven: Your kind heart, gifts or skills they can't acknowledge,
Yet when it comes to your mistakes, mishaps and defects,
They're excited to diss, throw shade, or micromanage.
Be patient with their jealousy - self-imposed distress.
Shun souls consumed by envy to save them from unrest.

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Do not envy each other, do not outbid each other, do not hate each other, do not turn away from each other, and do not outsell each other. Rather, be servants of Allah as brothers. The Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. He does not wrong him, nor humiliate him, nor look down upon him. Righteousness is here," and he pointed to his chest three times. The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "It is enough evil for a man to look down upon his Muslim brother. The entirety of the Muslim is sacred to another Muslim: his life, his wealth, and his reputation."

📖 Wathilah Ibn al-Asqa’ RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The Muslim is sacred to another Muslim: his life, his honor, and his wealth. The Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. He does not wrong him or betray him. Righteousness is here," and he pointed to his heart. The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "It is enough evil for a man to look down on his Muslim brother."

📖 Abdullah Ibn Amr RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, who are the best people?” The Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "One with a heart swept clean and truthful in speech." We said, “O Messenger of Allah, we know truthful in speech. What is a heart swept clean?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "One that is mindful of Allah and pure, in which there is no sin, nor aggression, nor envy." We said, “Who shows a sign of it?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "One who hates worldliness and loves the Hereafter." They said, “And who shows a sign of it?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "A believer with good character."

Poem: Three Reasons Why We Cannot Click With Certain People (On Incompatibility)

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Three likely reasons why we can't vibe with certain souls,
Why convos with some people seem fishy, fake, and forced,
And why though their figures and names are loads of times shown,
It's hard to like them, we're glad if they leave us alone,
And we're aware our feelings can't always be controlled:
~•~
First reason: We're different. There's conflict in our goals.
If we choose to go upwards, they take the downward slope,
If their vibes conceal dark lies, while ours shine bright like gold,
If we strive for Jannah's joys, as they're glued to this world,
In later becoming close friends there's no chance at all.
~•~
Second: They're a threat, or vice versa. There's no comfort
In their company. No good can be gained from their words.
Their love for gossip or drama just makes matters worse.
One envies the other, or there's envy in you both,
And the more you interact, grudge and doubts only grow.
~•~
Third: Your disaccord was destined since long time ago.
Allah the Most Wise didn't decree you'd get along.
Regardless of disharmony, bad manners don't show.
Treat them politely. From their unpleasantries move on.
Aim for Allah's Love, not to be liked by every soul.
~•~
📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The souls are like conscripted soldiers. They come together upon what they recognize, and they differ upon what they reject."
