Hadith: Important Du'a To Say Each Day And Night (sayyidul Istighfaar)

📖 Shaddad bin Aus RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The best supplication for seeking forgiveness ('Sayyid-ul- Istighfaar') is to say: 'Allahumma Anta Rabbi, laa ilaaha illaa Anta, khalaqtani wa ana 'abduka, wa ana 'alaa 'ahdika wa wa'duka mastata't, a'udhu Bika min sharri maa sana't, abu'u Laka bini'matika 'alayy, wa abu'u bidhanbi faghfir lee, fa innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunooba illaa Anta. (O Allah! You are my Rabb (Lord, Cherisher and Sustainer). There is no true god except You. You (Allah) have created me, and I am Your slave, and I hold to Your Covenant as far as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge the favours that You (Allah) have bestowed upon me, and I confess my sins. Pardon me, for none but You (Allah) has the power to pardon).' He who supplicates in these terms during the day with firm belief in it and dies on the same day (before the evening), he will be one of the dwellers of Paradise; and if anyone supplicates in these terms during the night with firm belief in it and dies before the morning, he will be one of the dwellers of Paradise."

Poem: This Is How I Know For Sure That I Love My Husband For Allah's Sake

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 If I were asked, "how do you know you love your husband?
How can you tell your love is true, you're not pretending,
And his profession isn't why you remain with him?",
I'd say, and Allah knows best how I feel from within,
"Loving him for Allah is what makes love genuine.
~•~
Though this bond at the moment lacks physical passion,
As Allah the Most Wise destined that my dear husband
Would work at a distance so I can't see him often,
I maintain connection by having his name mentioned
In frequent supplications, with my faith increasing.
~•~
I know I love my husband when I can imagine
A scene in which he could request for separation
While I'd calmly tell him that we should still solve problems,
And if he'd insist on leaving, I would keep loving,
Waiting for a fresh start and second wedding with him.
~•~
I know I love the human whom Allah has chosen
As my soulmate when, although most don't find him handsome,
To me he's good enough, a blessing that's inspiring,
And sweet puzzle to be solved with wisdom and patience.
When I'm able to defeat pride, I know I love him.
~•~
When attractive souls come and go in my surroundings
While my loyalty for my spouse stays unwavering,
And when I can't feel envious upon noticing
Other content couples, as real love is uncommon,
Know I'm not lying about loving my dear husband."
