Poem: To Single Brothers In Islam Striving To Survive

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 To single brothers in Islam striving to survive
On earth with an aim to pass Allah's tests day and night,
Also with a mission to deserve a pious wife
To love for Allah and bring up at least one good child,
While they strive to fight fitna storming from various sides:
~•~
Remind yourself often that our main purpose in life
Is to serve Allah and live for Him each day and night,
Not to be famous, admired, or financially thrive,
And not to enjoy this world as if we'll never die.
The closer we are to Allah, the more tests arise.
~•~
From the trials you'll confront when by Allah you're liked:
Feeling like an outcast or odd "black sheep" oftentimes
When none of your relatives would welcome your advice,
Not having friends whom you can trust and who are upright,
Or not being spared from invites to evil desires,
~•~
Or admiring a female whose family requires
Mahar or bride price which is unreasonably too high,
Or not possessing an appearance which satisfies
A woman who cares more about looks than what's inside,
Or working in a place that won't let you pray on time.
~•~
When you face challenges or feel lonely, realize
That pleasing Allah is what must be prioritized.
Know Allah sees us always. There are Angels nearby.
Books which enlighten are better than friends who misguide.
If you can't marry here, then in Jannah Paradise.
