Poem: Divorce May Lead To Regret If You Disregarded The Available Solutions

πŸ’ In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
πŸ’Œ To those who take Allah's blessings in marriage lightly,
Who treat marriage like it's a joke or funny story,
Who wrongly assume that as soon as you get married
You'd stay happy and completely free from all worries,
And who guess that divorce can solve every misery:
~•~
Is that how you perceive love? Temporary and cheap?
Do you see marriage as a toy which you can freely
Discard once you're bored or when it doesn't meet your needs?
Kids who walk around licking lollipops partially
Clearly lack good manners, morals and integrity.
~•~
It's illogical to decide that you wish to leave
Your husband simply because you find his looks "ugly" -
Didn't you agree to his proposal previously?
What happened to your ability to choose wisely?
Those who break their vows often are deemed untrustworthy.
~•~
If you ditch your spouse for struggling financially,
Doubtlessly you never loved him but desire money.
If asking for divorce gets tempting as you believe
Your marital life is devoid of true harmony,
Ask yourself 'is there bliss with a broken family?'.
~•~
Marrying just to split up implies stupidity
When you couldn't think of solutions ingeniously.
Preserve marriage to please Allah, value loyalty,
And work with your soulmate as a team so you both reach
Jannah for safeguarding this gift from shaytan's envy.

πŸ“– Jabir RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Verily, shaytan places his throne over the water and he sends out his troops. The closest to him in rank are the greatest at causing tribulations (mischief, trouble). One of them says: 'I have done this and this.' shaytan says: 'you have done nothing.' Another one says: 'I did not leave this man alone until I separated him from his wife.' shaytan embraces him and he says: 'you have done well!'"
