💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Giving charity for Allah's sake doesn't reduce your wealth, but it purifies it and blesses your earnings. Being generous is also one of the means to attain extra rewards. The more good deeds you sincerely do, the higher your level is in Jannah that has several levels the highest of which is Jannatul Ferdaus.
Some of the happiest people on earth aren't necessarily those who constantly receive gifts and freebies, but they're the ones who actively volunteer in charitable organizations, financially support widows and orphans, ensure the basic needs of the homeless or refugees are met, contribute to Islamic schools or madrasahs (madaaris) with whatever amount of money they can give, and provide the depressed or less fortunate with the available amenities they can offer (even if all they can share is a kind word or genuine smile), knowing that kindness keeps oneself relaxed and at peace from inside, while praying that their acts of sadaqah can guarantee them a special place in Paradise.
📖 Abdullah ibn Umar RadhiAllahu 'anhuma narrated that Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu alaihi wa sallam was upon the pulpit mentioning charity and abstaining from begging. The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The upper hand is better than the lower hand. The upper hand is the one that gives and the lower hand is the one that takes."
