π To my dear daughter and her half siblings, some advice
On choosing your friends wisely both online and offline,
And these tips can be applied by those who can't deny
The fact that your choice of friends can affect your lifestyle,
Your faith level and moods during daytime and at night.

On Facebook, don't be afraid to unfriend, with delight,
Users guilty of gossip, envy and telling lies,
Who claim they went to school yet through how they mostly type
And construct their words one can tell that these types don't mind
Making mistakes on purpose and spreading what's not right.
~•~
Unfriend those obsessed with posting selfies with fake smiles
And who care more about looks than what occur inside
Their thoughts that could influence if they've got peace of mind.
There's no need to witness their wants for numerous likes
And reactions to posts which can't uplift nor inspire.
~•~
Don't fill your news feed with nonsense that fail to shed light
On matters which must matter to Muslims who aspire
To please Only Allah and reach Jannah Paradise.
Toxic friends online and offline are like parasites
Causing you to decline from tolerating bad vibes.
~•~
Good friends should teach you things which are factual and worthwhile,
And their presence must remind you to prioritize
Serving Allah instead of succumbing to desires.
Unfriend, block or unfollow not due to kibr/pride,
But to flee distractions and make better use of time.
