Poem: Stay Contented And Recall Those With Much Less

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
🌻 Whenever you sometimes find yourself wondering why
You're from the employed whose monthly wage isn't as high
As those who gain profit swiftly with minimal tries,
Know you're still better than those who sacrifice their pride
And beg for money from strangers nearly day and night.
~•~
Don't forget those beggars who try their best to survive
In the streets and near some malls hoping with all their might
That they'll receive more than coins for essentials to buy.
You sleep under a roof or ceiling, not rainy skies.
So thank Allah for that. Allah's Bounties don't deny.
~•~
When you question your circumstances, once in a while,
Imagining how being richer would've been nice,
Remember the needy with less than you. Realize
This financial problem may last only for a while -
Strive and increase Dua. With Allah's Will you can thrive -
~•~
Gradually, with Allah's Help, more barakah can rise
And Inn-sha-Allah that time or moment will arrive
When your debts are gone, you provide to your left and right,
And willingly do charity with a sincere smile,
Knowing what it's like to be poor once upon a time.

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Look at those below you and do not look at those above you, for it is the best way not to belittle the favors of Allah (Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala)."

Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi (Authenticity agreed upon) according to Al-Bukhari and Muslim
📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The strong believer is more beloved to Allah (The Almighty) than the weak believer, but there is goodness in both of them. Be eager for what benefits you, seek help from Allah (Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala), and do not be frustrated. If something befalls you, then do not say: 'If only I had done something else.' Rather say: "Allah (The Almighty) has decreed what He (Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala) wills. (QaddarAllahu wa maa shaa-a fa'al)" Verily, the phrase ‘if only’ opens the way for the work of (our enemy) shaytan."

Grade: Sahih (Authentic) according to Muslim
