Poem: The Secret To Feeling Indifferent When Some Users Unfriend You

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 A secret to indifference and feeling unfazed,
Unruffled and unaffected when "friends" go away,
Or when users unfriend you and you're like, "Fine. Okay.
You can leave if you want. No one's forcing you to stay."
Is to live solely for Allah and trust Him always.
~•~
That's your secret - that's how you somehow intimidate
Dark souls and jealous hearts that clash with your steadfast faith.
For their freedom and choice to detach yourself don't blame.
Your confidence or love for Allah brings them dismay,
Or they unfriended simply because they can't relate.
~•~
You're not an umbilical cord. They're not a fetus.
You're not a tree. They're not monkeys that hang on branches.
You're not a seatbelt. They're not drivers that are careless.
You're not a bee. They're not beehives, hence they're not needed.
When some ditch you, visualize them as detached leeches.
~•~
If for years you survived without them, you can do this.
They don't pay your bills nor breastfeed or keep you nourished.
In fact, it's a blessing that they left if they're toxic.
No more tolerating their nonsense, lies and gossip.
Their disappearance means you're no longer distracted.
~•~
Alhamdulillah Allah got rid of the wicked
Who were bad for us and undervalued our kindness,
Or whose presence in our present is problematic.
As we gladly move on, let them manage without us.
There's no loss, so long as I'm from those whom Allah loves.

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The strong believer is more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, but there is goodness in both of them. Be eager for what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not be frustrated. If something befalls you, then do not say: 'If only I had done something else.’ Rather say: "Allah has decreed what He wills." Verily, the phrase ‘if only’ opens the way for the work of shaytan."
