Poem: Aspire To Sincerely Repent For Allah's Sake From All Sins

πŸ’ In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
πŸ’Œ Before this noble month Ramadan goes, let's intend
To sincerely repent for Allah's sake from all sins,
Aspiring to be better than before, as Muslims,
While aware we're not fully free from imperfections.
We're not perfect, yet Allah loves those who keep striving.
~•~
Earnestly aspire from now on to quit backbiting,
To abandon the urge to look down on a Muslim,
To ensure when a promise is made it's not broken,
To not ignore salaams despite how one is feeling,
And to stop knowingly lying even if joking.
~•~
Eagerly look forward to quitting foul addiction
To listening to songs, staring at obscene content,
And getting carried away by constant daydreaming
About one's crushes or wishful haraam relations.
Replace bad thoughts with Istighfaar and supplications.
~•~
Be determined to leave wicked traits like arrogance
Which stops one from forgiving and apologizing,
Unjust suspicion without definite evidence,
Discontentment with Qadr that leads to comparing
One's life to others' tests and envying their blessings.
~•~
Before blessed Ramadan departs, have firm intention
To again repent to Allah the Most Forgiving.
Ask Allah for guidance, steadfast faith, patience, more strength,
Protection from fitna and immoral temptations,
And if we fail some tests, pray we're always forgiven.
