π In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
π Advantages of not having humans as close friends,
Or merits of being content with independence,
While trusting Only Allah instead of His servants,
To comfort those who can't form meaningful connections
Or who stand out in crowds and can't click with anyone:
~•~
One: Less time with people gives space for self-reflection,
Inspiration to increase Adhkaar, Qur'an reading,
Supplications, and researching for self-improvement.
Two: Few friends or no close companions means protection
From feigned flattery, discourtesy, and backbiting.
~•~
Three: Your secrets stay safe if you don't build connection
With people who secretly envy your achievements,
Or who treat your friendship as toxic competition.
Four: Less friends or no comrades leads to better saving.
No point in spoiling ingrates who feed on kind treatment.
~•~
Five: In times of fitna, no close friends is a blessing,
Specially when surrounded by those who hate learning.
You're not closely linked to disputing groups and factions,
And by not joining specific associations,
You're far from drama, hearing rumors, and arguments.
~•~
We're Muslim, guided by Allah. That's more important.
Amassing tons of likes, subscribers and following
Isn't a requirement to deserve Jannah's entrance.
If keeping trusted friends seems like a tricky mission,
Be patient, and with Allah's Love achieve contentment.

π Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Allah the Almighty said: 'Whoever shows hostility (enmity) to a righteous friend of Mine, I have declared war upon him. My servant does not grow closer to Me with anything more beloved to Me than the obligatory duties that I have imposed upon him. My servant continues to grow closer to Me with extra good works (nawaafil deeds like praying Tahajjud and fasting Sunnah fasts) until I love him. When I love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask something from Me, I would surely give it to him. Were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant it to him. I do not hesitate to do anything as I hesitate to take the soul of the believer, for he hates death and I hate to disappoint him.'"
