Poem: Reminder To Avoid Gossiping Specially During Ramadan

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Note to cowards who, despite fasting in the daytime,
Still fill their timelines with narcissistic posts and lies,
And they can't control themselves from the urge to backbite,
Mocking other Muslims in passive-aggressive fights:
You gossip coz you're jealous, or you have a sad life?
~•~
What's the purpose in going out of your way to type
Lousy status updates to mock Muslims from behind?
To inflate huge ego? So hurt pride is pacified?
To forget about adulting and act like a child
Who bullies others since they're miserable from inside?
~•~
Without a doubt, and this is known by Allah Most Wise,
Your weird fetish for gossiping offline and online,
Acting as though your lifestyle is flawless and sublime,
Indicates you're full of envy which you may deny -
Envious of Muslims whose manners are more upright.
~•~
Addressing this not to start an irrational fight,
But to remind myself and others to cast aside
The tendency to childishly gossip and backbite.
Even if there's someone whom you intensely dislike,
Don't diss them in a manner that's weak and infantile.
~•~
Before you post a message, think: Will these words inspire
Others to do good, so their faith is more rectified?
Or will this update reflect a user's cheerless life,
And spreading rumors or backbiting is utilized
To cheer themselves, so their self-hatred is minimized?
~•~
📄 Note: Avoid direct and indirect gossiping, if you want to make sure that the rewards of your good deeds are not transferred to the accounts of those Muslims whom you gossip about, specially during Ramadan.

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Whoever wrongs his brother in his honor or anything else should resolve the matter today before it cannot be resolved with gold and silver coins. If he has good deeds to his credit, they will be taken from him according to the measure of his injustice. If he has no good deeds left, he will bear the evil deeds of the one he has oppressed."

📖 Abdullah Ibn Amr RadhiAllahu 'anhu reported that they mentioned a man in front of the Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam and they said, “He only eats if he is fed! He only moves if he is made to move!” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "You have backbitten him." They said, “We only said what is true about him.” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "It is enough sin to mention bad things about your brother."
In another narration, the Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "If what you said about him were not true, you would have slandered him."
