Poem: Advice To Muslim Reverts And Those Without Trusted Friends On What They Can Do On Eid

πŸ’ In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
πŸ’Œ Advice to Muslim reverts, those who have recently
Accepted Islam as their way of life and belief,
Those who hide the fact they're Muslims from their families,
Or whose acceptance of Islam got them currently
Ostracized, and oftentimes they feel lonely on Eid:
~•~
Realize Allah is with you each moment you breathe,
Allah knows every thought you think of, words you don't speak,
What's best for you in both worlds, what your soul truly needs,
And who from His creation deserves your company,
Like-minded friends who won't spoil your soul's integrity.
~•~
If finding trustworthy companions isn't easy,
Or your longtime friends reside in another city,
Or potential buddies most of the time seem busy,
Don't worry, there are ways to enjoy Eid's atmosphere,
Without attending gatherings and festivities.
~•~
Be more kind to yourself on Eid. Buy yourself a treat,
A cake to savor with a new book or warm coffee,
Milk tea or ice-cream to enjoy as you browse or read
Online writings or watch vids which enhance self-esteem,
Or relish your fave dish, or try random recipes.
~•~
Stroll around your yard, garden, a park, retreat, or beach,
Reflect on nature made by Allah beautifully,
While saying some Adhkaar and Du'a reflectively,
Grateful that Allah guided you to the right belief,
Not one bit lonely, as Allah is at all times near.
~•~
