π In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
π If you work with chronic liars who tend to tell lies
Oftentimes to stroke their ego, keep you satisfied,
Or they're trying to flee from more works and verbal fights,
How would you deal with their likes while remaining polite?
Ways to cope with untrustworthy people in your life:
~•~
With those who lie a lot and break promises sometimes,
Minimize needless talks. In the way you speak stay wise.
When clarifying matters and greeting be concise.
Decline them as potential close friends if they deny
Any truth and they've disrespected you more than thrice.
~•~
To shopping, outings and gatherings you've organized
Don't invite them, and on them never ever rely.
Respond to their gossip by pushing nonsense aside,
Ignore the rumors they spread, to their jokes don't reply,
And to their rehearsed acts, react with a quiet smile.
~•~
By their delayed replies or ignoring you online
Don't be surprised. Liars are cowards most of the time.
If they're scared of confrontation, they'll attempt to hide
Or avoid you, and hope that you'll soon vanish from sight.
~•~
If they fail to fulfill your rights or take your advice,
While their choice to quit lying can't be sure anytime,
Stop making deals with them, don't make expectations high,
And no matter how many times they betray and lie,
Remain truthful for Allah. Don't copy their bad vibes.

π Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "You must be truthful. Verily, truthfulness leads to righteousness and righteousness leads to Paradise. A man continues to be truthful and encourages honesty until he is recorded with Allah as a truthful person. And beware of falsehood. Verily, falsehood leads to wickedness and wickedness leads to the Hellfire. A man continues to tell lies and encourages falsehood until he is recorded with Allah as a liar."
