Poem: The Countless Ways That My Dear Husband Has Inspired Me

๐Ÿ’ In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
๐Ÿ’Œ "In what ways does your husband inspire you to become
A better Muslimah?" if I were asked that question,
From the bottom of my heart I'd truthfully respond,
"Since my spouse is a gift from Allah the Most Loving,
Loving my travel buddy to Jannah has strengthened
My faith/Imaan in countless ways, as my dear husband
Inspired me to improve in contentment and patience."
~•~
When he's out often with his friends or his employment,
When he's busy caring for his mom or his patients,
Or frequent stress at his workplace triggers his mood swings,
He motivates me to perform wudhoo/ablution,
Then I'd pray Sunnah prayers or start supplicating
To Allah, asking Allah with fierce dedication
To please keep this marriage blessed and protect my husband.
~•~
When hubby arrives, I can't stop myself from smiling,
Grateful to Allah that my zawj has safely returned,
Feeling more enlightened that angst isn't permanent,
And aware that in Jannah is joy everlasting.
My husband has taught me how to be a patient friend -
If his replies are delayed, I'd choose to comprehend
That despite his defects, he's still my special someone.
~•~
My husband, one of the best gifts Allah has given,
Inspired me to enhance leniency and resilience,
To be more loving and tolerant with my loved ones,
And to resist quitting challenges in an instant.
Sincerely I thank Allah for His wise selection,
And for answering a Du'a when I was a teen.
Loving my spouse inspired me more to always believe.
