Poem: Advice To Muslim Reverts And Those Without Trusted Friends On What They Can Do On Eid

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Advice to Muslim reverts, those who have recently
Accepted Islam as their way of life and belief,
Those who hide the fact they're Muslims from their families,
Or whose acceptance of Islam got them currently
Ostracized, and oftentimes they feel lonely on Eid:
~•~
Realize Allah is with you each moment you breathe,
Allah knows every thought you think of, words you don't speak,
What's best for you in both worlds, what your soul truly needs,
And who from His creation deserves your company,
Like-minded friends who won't spoil your soul's integrity.
~•~
If finding trustworthy companions isn't easy,
Or your longtime friends reside in another city,
Or potential buddies most of the time seem busy,
Don't worry, there are ways to enjoy Eid's atmosphere,
Without attending gatherings and festivities.
~•~
Be more kind to yourself on Eid. Buy yourself a treat,
A cake to savor with a new book or warm coffee,
Milk tea or ice-cream to enjoy as you browse or read
Online writings or watch vids which enhance self-esteem,
Or relish your fave dish, or try random recipes.
~•~
Stroll around your yard, garden, a park, retreat, or beach,
Reflect on nature made by Allah beautifully,
While saying some Adhkaar and Du'a reflectively,
Grateful that Allah guided you to the right belief,
Not one bit lonely, as Allah is at all times near.

📖 Ibn Hibban RahimahuAllah narrated that Abu Darda RadhiAllahu 'anhu said, “A righteous companion is better than loneliness, and loneliness is better than an evil companion. A good writer is better than one who is silent, and one who is silent is better than an evil writer.”

Poem: Five Reasons Why We May Like Some Souls For Allah's Sake

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Five likely reasons why we gravitate to some souls,
Why we relate to some, while with others we're not close,
Why we can tolerate them although their flaws are shown,
And though we don't exchange daily messages and calls,
We love them for Allah, and with them we get along:
~•~
One: We feel safe around them, as they don't judge at all.
When we speak, they listen, without making their eyes roll.
Whether we've gained some weight or we don't have makeup on,
Or we're sweaty from stress, or they see our messy home,
They sympathize and don't rush to criticize or scold.
~•~
Two: They've been so helpful and kind many times before,
Gave advice and showed support while others closed their doors,
And they return our kindness when we do them favors.
Three: They remind us of ourselves, we share the same goals,
And convos aren't awkward, as they help in self-growth.
~•~
Four: Interacting with them inspires our faith to grow,
When we read their tips, reminders and Islamic posts,
And receive warnings whenever we do something wrong.
Five: Our connection was planned by Allah long ago.
Those who were meant to like us can't be swiftly abhorred.
~•~
When Allah the Most Wise connects us with special souls,
There's wisdom in our meeting, and our bond must stay strong -
To motivate each other to obey Allah's Laws,
And work together in attaining Jannah's entrance.
Don't let shaytan break this friendship through pride and ego.
