Poem: On The Souls Whom Allah Destined We Would Meet

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 When you wonder why you get along with certain souls,
Why talks and conversations with them easily flow,
And though you don't see them everyday - your love still grows,
Just know the connection was destined, while Allah chose
Them to enter your circle for your spiritual growth.
~*~
From the signs that you and those souls were meant to connect:
You share similar features, have common interests,
Their energy matches yours, they're too hard to forget,
Their life journey aligns with yours in many aspects,
And what brings them happiness doesn't make you upset.
~*~
They could be away for days, and your love wouldn't change.
At times they disappoint, yet you forgive their mistakes,
Just as they quickly pardon you when you misbehave.
Their skills and achievements can't trigger envy nor hate.
Time with them never drains you but keeps your faith awake.
~*~
In contrast to them are souls with whom you clash often,
Whose companionship in your story wasn't written
Nor decreed by Allah the Most Wise to be chosen.
So don't be surprised if you fell into arguments
With these types. Their likes and dislikes are too different.
~*~
Just as not everyone enjoys math, okra and meat,
Don't expect to be accepted by everybody.
Focus on loving Allah the Almighty Only,
And maintain strong bonds with those who show affinity -
The kind of friends who suit you and boost your piety.
~*~
