Note: Some Of The Differences Between Eid Al-Adha And Eid Al-Fitr

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
🗒️ Some of the differences between Eid Al-Adha and Eid Al-Fitr:
1] Before praying the Eid prayer on Eid Al-Fitr, the Muslims are encouraged to pay the Zakat Al-Fitr to compensate for any shortcomings and mistakes they may have committed anytime in Ramadan. There is no specific Sadaqa / charity or amount of money to be given before praying the Eid prayer on Eid Al-Adha.
2] Before the Eid prayer on Eid Al-Fitr, it is Sunnah to eat an odd number of dates, also to emphasize the fact that one isn't fasting since it is Eid. In contrast, it is closer to the Sunnah of the noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam to not eat anything before the Eid prayer on Eid Al-Adha. After the Eid prayer on Eid Al-Adha, the Muslims can eat from the udh-hiya that they sacrificed for Allah's sake or which were donated to them as charity.
3] The Eid Al-Adha prayer is prayed at an earlier timing than the Eid Al-Fitr prayer so that the Muslims on Eid Al-Fitr have more chances to pay their Zakat Al-Fitr while the Muslims who intend to carry out the animal sacrifice can start sacrificing on Yawm An-Nahr (the day of sacrifice) after the Eid prayer.
🔹 Notes regarding Eid Al-Adha:
1] While praying the Eid prayer is a highly recommended Sunnah (not obligatory), it is better for women, even if they have their monthly period or postpartum menstruation, to attend the Eid assembly/gathering not only to enjoy the blessed atmosphere of Eid but also to benefit from the Islamic reminders in the Eid sermons / Khutbah.
2] Muslim women should avoid wearing perfume, tight and transparent clothes, and heavy makeup whenever they are in the presence of non-mahram males.
3] It is Sunnah to say the Takbeer and Dhikr "Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar. Laa ilaaha ilAllah. Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar. Wa LillaahilHamd." as often as you can on the night before Eid Al-Adha and on the three days of Tashreeq (11th, 12th and 13th of Dhul-Hijjah).
Allah the Almighty knows best.

📖 Umm 'Atiyyah RadhiAllahu 'anha narrated: 'We were ordered to come out on the day of Eid, even the young girls and menstruating women from their houses. We would stand behind the men and declare the Greatness of Allah (say the Takbeeraat regularly) along with them, and supplicate to Allah along with them, hoping for the blessings of that day and its purification from sin.'
