💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
🗒️ Nine signs which prove you are not a narcissist who's arrogant and insecure:
1] You believe that all humans are Allah's servants, you're not better than everyone, and there is something valuable to learn from every soul whom you're destined to meet.
2] With a genuinely grateful attitude, you're humble enough to thank people, whether Muslim or non-Muslim, for even the simplest favors and acts of kindness they've done.
3] You don't pridefully hesitate to apologize when you recognize you've made a mistake.
4] When you discover or learn something helpful, you occasionally share the useful information with others hoping that somebody out there could also benefit from it. You care for others' well-being, not only your ego and selfish progress.
5] You willingly forgive for Allah's sake, without being a pushover. Since you're capable of putting yourself in others' shoes and applying empathy, you're not the type of person who gets disappointed easily.
6] You intensely dislike gossip. If some individuals are discussing a person disrespectfully behind their back, you either leave the draining conversation or advise the gossipmongers to quit cowardly backbiting.
7] Now and then you research articles and videos on how to identify narcissists so you can learn what to avoid, as you'd hate to be one of them, or you've asked a number of loved ones previously for advice concerning practicing humility. Someone who is actually guilty of narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) would lack self-awareness and willingness to change their toxic traits, because they like to imagine they're already "perfect".
8] You don't feel entitled nor act as if the people around you are obliged to treat you with VIP (very important person) treatment 24/7. An actual narcissist would feel infuriated if an acquaintance arrived from a long trip and didn't buy them any souvenir, give someone the silent treatment if the latter didn't answer their messages in a manner they desired, and obnoxiously spread rumors about you if you indicate you're not in the mood to chat.
9] Just as you never judge people according to their outward appearance, you don't oblige yourself to appear "flawless" or "on fleek" all the time. Real narcissists who conceal tons of insecurities despise facial blemishes, acne, weight gain, and "bad fashion sense". They're unaware that being desperate to look fabulous on the surface while snubbing those who haven't reached their level of "awesomeness" stems from low self-esteem.

A man said, “But a man likes to have nice clothes and nice shoes.” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Verily, Allah is Beautiful and He loves beauty. Arrogance is to disregard (or reject) the truth and to look down on the people."
