Poem: I Always Have Allah Whom I Confide In

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 Oftentimes I find within me thoughts I wish to share,

Dreams to discuss, secrets too heavy for me to bear,

Questions that need answers, in a quest for friends who care,

Then I hold back when I recall the masks some souls wear.

~•~

If I could confess to this one how they make me feel,

Without fearing ridicule for what I may reveal,

I'd release my emotions so they aren't concealed,

But the concept of friends who never gossip ain't real.

~•~

Each time I see the news or collect information,

I get the urge to indulge in fruitful discussions

Then refrain from self-expression when they're not present -

Like-minded souls who got all day to speak and listen.

~•~

I log in, ready to chat with these, but they're not there.

Of their busyness and offline tasks, yes, I'm aware.

Reach out to those who differ from me I wouldn't dare,

Not out of pride but my life goals don't align with theirs.

~•~

I know the secret struggles with which I often deal,

If they pile up, may cause my heart to be left unhealed,

Hence I release them in the form of Du'as and tears,

Firmly believing Allah never leaves me unheard.

~•~

I distance myself often from people for reasons,

Shunning gossip, feelings that could lead to temptation,

Debates, distractions, and closeness that breeds attraction,

And choose seclusion to preserve my soul's well-being.

~•~

Crying to Allah, for me, is more than sufficient,

As Allah sees my heart and won't laugh at my problems.

A strong bond with Allah keeps us from feeling lonesome.

When Allah tests us in dunya, let's just talk to Him.

Poem: What Allah Knows About Us Matters More Than What His Slaves Think

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 How Allah sees us matters more than what people say.
Allah knows our intentions, not merely what's displayed.
Since humans often misunderstand and make mistakes,
We can't always distinguish what is real from what's fake.
~•~
A piece of glass proves useful for some as a mirror,
While that same object is viewed as useless to others.
Those who don't mingle much may be accused of kibr,
When they're just shielding their faith and shunning gossipers.
~•~
A diamond's value doesn't reduce if someone
Lacks the tools and skills to detect its significance.
Likewise your worth, if haters envy your achievements,
Has no connection with their actions and opinions.
~•~
Let opponents emphasize their jealousy each time
They gossip and spread lies about you with rolling eyes.
The awful words they use against you clearly describe
Their bad upbringing and hatred of themselves inside.
~•~
So what if some guess you're showing off when you're sincere,
If some speculate you're desperate to be revered
When you're eager for Allah's Love and know death is near?
Keep striving for Allah though most find your goals unclear.
~•~
Your passion to serve Allah may be seen as "riyaa"
By those whose jealous selves trick them to doubt your niyyah.
Pity their insecurities, move on for Allah,
And don't be strayed from Jannah by those glued to dunya.
~•~
Those whom Allah guides are the ones at peace from within,
Albeit our inner bliss isn't shown through wealth and grins.
Although most critics tend to judge from what's apparent,
Allah's Justice will prevail on the Day of Judgment.

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The strong believer is more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, but there is goodness in both of them. Be eager for what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not be frustrated. If something befalls you, then do not say: 'If only I had done something else.' Rather say: "Allah has decreed what He wills." Verily, the  phrase ‘if only’ opens the way for the work of shaytan."

📖 Ibn Mas’ud RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: The Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam was distributing charity when a man from the Ansaar said, “By Allah, Muhammad did not intend to please Allah with this!” I came to the Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam and told him about it, then anger could be seen on his face. The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Moses (Prophet Musa 'alaihis salaam) was hurt by more than this, yet he remained patient."
In another narration, the Prophet Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Who will be just if not Allah and His Messenger?"
