Poem: Three Kinds Of Friends Whom We Like, But Just One Of Them Is Worth Keeping And Loving For Allah's Sake

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Three kinds of friends whose companionship may bring delight,
With whom you have lots in common, who are sweet and kind,
And nearly each time you see them you feel energized,
Inspired by their confidence, courage, or cheerful vibes,
But just one of these groups is worth keeping in your life:
~•~
The first kind of friends: Freeloaders, leeches, parasites,
Opportunists or greedy pals who stick by your side
For as long as you spoil them, being constantly nice,
Buying gifts, paying for their meals when dining outside,
Giving rides, while they give nothing - not even advice.
~•~
You may enjoy their company because oftentimes
They do share some jokes or make effort to see you smile,
But behind the facade and forced friendliness, they hide
Motives to use you as a tool to improve their lives.
Once your worldly merits are gone, they vanish from sight.
~•~
Second type of friends: Buddies with shared likes and dislikes,
Who may have thought when they first spotted you, "This, I like,
I feel relaxed with them, and in some ways they remind
Me of myself. Their skills and attributes I admire."
While they dispel loneliness, they can't teach nor inspire.
~•~
They're the sort to ask you, "Have you seen the film last night?",
"Can we watch this now? Do your projects another time."
And "You watched that viral vid on guys pranking their wives?"
Although their presence may invite laughter, fun, and smiles,
They can't benefit in your journey to Paradise.
~•~
Third category of friends: Sincere Muslims who strive
To fulfill their duties to Allah, respect your rights,
Motivate you to do good like pray Qiyaam Al-Layl,
Share Islam with you, and ensure you remain upright,
And three never stem from them - rumors, rudeness, and lies.
~•~
You're blessed if you have a few righteous friends in your life,
Including your spouse, who love it too when you advise,
Correct each other's faults and remind to do what's right.
Since they're not guilty of fraud and envy from inside,
One true friend can help in your travel to Paradise.

Poem: Different Types Of Ignoring And How To Deal With Those Who Purposely Ignore You

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Six types of people who make effort to ignore you,
And a seventh group of souls whose love for you stays true,
Oftentimes preoccupied with loads of things to do:
One - The disinterested, who can't relate to you,
Like bears that bypass jewels not knowing their value.
~•~
Two - The jealous, who can't stand what makes them insecure.
They'd rather flee than compliment those who've acquired more.
Three - The careful and self-aware secret admirer.
Of their strong feelings for you they're scared yet fully sure.
They seek to guard their faith, so you both wouldn't be lured.
~•~
Four - The incompatible, whose values clash with yours.
They've freewill to decide, just as you take your own course.
Five - The confused, who got you all wrong, who still feel hurt.
Distance is their shield from recalling your past insults.
To like someone they can't not everyone can be forced.
~•~
Six - The scared or stressed out who can't handle too much work,
Like students who look away when they'd hate to be heard.
Avoiding your orders, your distrust of their self-worth,
Desire to change them, or zeal that brings them discomfort,
Could be why their actions sometimes make you feel ignored.
~•~
Seven - The busy, distracted, focused on their goals,
Who seldom check their inbox or abhor making calls.
While they're not purposely trying to leave you alone,
They're overloaded with tasks, ideas to think of,
Or they savor solitude like withdrawn introverts.
~•~
To deal with moments when you feel unjustly ignored:
Say Du'a, talk to Allah with Whom you can't be bored,
Read often the Noble Qur'an, to attain rewards,
Increase Adhkaar, research writings or vids on self-help,
And spend some time with loved ones who recognize your worth.
~•~
Recall you're not the only human being on earth.
Don't oblige anybody to always put you first.
Let others contact you, respond, and freely approach
Only when they're ready, when their mood is undisturbed.
Love Allah most, and His slaves' apathy won't provoke.
