Note: INTJ's Thoughts On ISTP And ISTJ Personality Types

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

🗒️ Question: As an INTJ-A personality type, what do you like and dislike about ISTPs and ISTJs? How do you differentiate between those two personality types?
📝 Answer:
🔹What I like or admire about some ISTPs:
•¶ Their alertness and attentiveness when they're interested in something or when they are being vigilant. Their ability to notice important details.
•¶ Their adaptability and willingness to adjust to different circumstances when necessary.
❎ What I dislike about some ISTPs:
¶• How some ISTPs may not believe the story or information you're telling them until they receive and fully understand all of the details.
¶• How a lot of ISTPs seem irritated and grumpy - most of the time from my perspective - when you're trying to ask them for clarification. Most ISTPs may appear grouchy if they believe that the answers to certain questions are already obvious.
🔹What I like or admire about some ISTJs:
•¶ Their general calmness or quiet demeanor, especially during social events a lot of ISTJs can appear very formal and well-groomed. While ISTJs are capable of expressing anger, it usually takes a lot of time for them to lose their temper since most of them are good at being reserved and uninterested in getting involved with matters which don't concern them directly.
•¶ Their ability to be organized and prepared when they aren't stressed out.
❎ What I dislike about some ISTJs:
¶• How stubborn many ISTJs can be when they have finalized their decision regarding something.
¶• How some ISTJs, from my observation (specially one female ISTJ), have a tendency to feel extremely envious of particular individuals and when they do get jealous they become evidently competitive or insecure and prone to gossiping with other xxSJ types.
📑 How to differentiate between ISTPs and ISTJs:
•|° ISTPs in general are more generous or more altruistic than ISTJs, from what I've observed. For instance, if you request an ISTP and ISTJ to buy you a tray of eggs, the ISTJ may purchase what you requested and expect you to pay them back with the exact price while the ISTP not only bought you the products you asked for but gives you other freebies and informs you there's no need for any payment, if they're close friends with you.
•|° ISTPs are more receptive to new ideas and suggestions than most ISTJs.
•|° ISTJs seem to have more patience with people and more willingness to dutifully attend large gatherings than some ISTPs who don't always enjoy socializing.
📑 Do you get along better, as an INTJ, with ISTPs or with ISTJs more?
➡️ It depends on their interests, likes and dislikes. Getting along with ISTJs and ISTPs is unlikely to happen if most of their goals and values differ from mine, if they secretly view me as a threat and they struggle with even an ounce of jealousy. If a family member or colleague is an ISTP or ISTJ type, I often keep my distance to avoid pointless arguments and drama yet I'm willing to defend and support them if ever they require assistance.

📖 Anas Ibn Malik RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The believer is one who is trusted by the people. The Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe (not guilty of backbiting, telling lies, and deliberately committing injustice). The emigrant (muhaajir) is one who emigrates away from evil. By the One (Allah the Almighty) in Whose Hand is my soul, a servant will not enter Paradise if his neighbor is not secure from his harm."
