💌 Imagine a scenario where you must reach the top
Of a tall mountain without a single slip or drop,
Which of these methods would you pick so you can go up:
Grappling hook and incomplete tools in a climber's pack,
Feeble ladder or safe staircase made of steel and rocks?

Surely a clever person would choose the safest route,
One which can assure they won't get injured or confused.
As Muslims, it is crucial that we carefully choose
The right scholars to learn from and reliable books
To ensure our faith in Allah is stable and true.

Just as you won't tread a path that leads to a dead end
And you avoid absorbing bad vibes of toxic friends,
It's important that what you read of online content,
Islamic notes, and lectures you listen to often
Lead to Allah and His Prophet's Sunnah/tradition (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam).

Without the right 'Aqeedah, some who claim to believe
Perform acts of worship wrongly and ignorantly.
Some commit sorcery, others call on the deceased,
Some do birthdays, others legalize adultery
Through brief "marriage", while others approach shirk clumsily.

To detect who's on the right track regarding our Deen,
Search for those who strive to obey Allah correctly,
Striving to follow Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) sincerely,
Maintaining good manners to their best ability,
And they teach what they've learned, unafraid of mockery.

📖 Malik RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "I have left you with two matters which will never lead you astray, as long as you hold on to them: The Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet (Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam)."

📖 Abdullah Ibn Amr RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "What comes over my nation will surely be what came over the children of Israel, step by step until if one of them fornicated with his mother, one from my nation would do the same. Verily, the children of Israel split into seventy-two sects and my nation will split into seventy-three sects. All of them will be in Hellfire except for one sect." They said, “Who are they, O Messenger of Allah?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Those who follow my way and my companions."
