Hadith: Allah's Mercy And Justice

📖 Abu Dharr RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Allah the Almighty said: 'O My servants, I have forbidden injustice for Myself and I have forbidden it among you, so do not oppress one another. O My servants, all of you are astray except for those I have guided, so seek guidance from Me and I shall guide you. O My servants, all of you are hungry except for those I have fed, so seek food from Me and I shall feed you. O My servants, all of you are naked except for those I have clothed, so seek clothing from Me and I shall clothe you. O My servants, you sin by night and day and I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness from Me and I shall forgive you. O My servants, you are unable to harm Me and you are unable to bring benefit to Me. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you, to be as pious as the most pious heart of anyone of you, that would not increase My dominion at all. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you, to be as wicked as the most wicked heart of anyone of you, that would not decrease My dominion at all. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you, to rise up in one place and make a request of Me, and were I to give everyone what he requested, that would not diminish what I have any more than a needle would diminish the sea if put into it. O My servants, it is only your deeds that I record and then recompense for you. Let him who finds good praise Allah, and let him who finds something else blame no one but himself."

Poem: Love Allah More Than Any Of His Servants So "Unrequited Love" Becomes Manageable

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Unrequited love - ever felt that feeling before?
When you develop feelings for souls you can't ignore,
Adoring them from afar while you try to ensure
That your attraction for each crush will never unfold?
When you're "in love" with one whom you can't marry nor hold.
~•~
Unrequited love - so deeply felt but don't want shown,
Because you fear that those whom you secretly adore
May freak out and don't want you around them anymore.
You know it's real. You're attracted to them. It's no joke,
Yet you keep it to yourself with a mask that stays on.
~•~
As a Muslim whose goal is to serve Allah, recall
That shaytan, our worst foe, would try his best to enthrall
And urge you to do things that could lead to your downfall.
Catching feelings for those who are not marriageable
Is from shaytan's tricks. Maintain Taqwa. Remain careful.
~•~
If the subject of your love is truly lovable,
As they strive to be pious, generous and helpful,
Whilst marrying them is clearly unachievable,
Admit from within you like them but you must move on,
Lower your gaze, pray for them, and uphold self-control.
~•~
When concealing your love for someone unreachable
Provokes sorrow and you're tired of all the mixed signals,
Talk to Allah and pray that He makes this bearable -
A special test to examine if you are truthful,
If you can resist treating people as His equals.
~•~

Poem: Live As A Stranger Or Traveler Who Seeks To Meet Allah In The Next Life

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 By the Messenger Muhammad (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) we were commanded
To live in this world as travelers, strangers or guests.
Think of ourselves as tourists touring a large palace.
It would be foolish for a guest to stay distracted
By the lavish furnishings while the tour guide has left.
~•~
As a stranger in someone's apartment or office,
If you were asked for an appointment or brief visit,
You wouldn't grab items you don't rightfully possess
Nor insist on keeping the owner's things and trinkets.
You'd accomplish the mission of why you're there instead.
~•~
If you've traveled abroad before, can you recollect
How your trips to each city were like dreams - short and quick?
Similarly, the pleasures of dunya are short-lived.
For now we're alive. The next thing you know we're buried.
Prepare for death before deeds get evaluated.
~•~
Rather than fretting over how and when we'll be rich,
Focus on gaining Allah's Love to earn real success.
Better than stressing to be a graduate, intellect,
Or a wealthy founder of a high-income business
Is striving to please Allah, so from Hell we're shielded.
~•~
This passing life is a test. There's no doubt about it.
The time of our demise Allah has already set.
Pack up your luggage with righteous deeds which benefit
You in the next life. By shaytan don't be distracted.
Let's not get too comfy on earth to evade regret.
~•~
📖 'Abdullah Ibn 'Umar RadhiAllahu 'anhuma narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler along a path."

Tips: ISFP vs INTJ (and how to get along with any MBTI personality type)

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
🗒️ Five ways that INTJ personality types and ISFPs are so different, which is why they usually clash with each other:
1] ISFPs generally enjoy living in the moment. They'd rather choose instant gratification or do something enjoyable at present than patiently wait for tangible results. INTJs are more focused on the future. They're willing to sacrifice comfort or current pleasures if doing so can benefit their long-term goals.
2] ISFPs in a group setting aren't readily cooperative unless the tasks which they've been assigned to do are considered favorable by them and agreeable to their values. Although most INTJs are not natural team players, they're receptive to cooperating as long as the other group members can prove they're trustworthy and they don't disrupt their efficiency or structure of working.
3] ISFPs can be very sensitive and get hurt easily. At the same time they can be revengeful if they believe that you treated them unfairly, according to their understanding and perception. INTJs are thick-skinned, indifferent to people's opinions about them, and not overly emotional. They see negative feedback, criticism, and insults as good opportunities for them to improve. INTJs would rather forgive and move on than waste their energy plotting revenge if trying to get even is irrational.
4] ISFPs typically dislike bossy individuals while they themselves shy away from taking leadership roles. INTJs will take the initiative to manage a group only if there's no reliable leader, and they'll enthusiastically comply with orders on condition that the instructions make logical sense to them.
5] A pleasant atmosphere for many ISFPs in a social gathering would include activities which allow them to creatively express themselves e.g. art, calligraphy, painting, flower arranging, spoken word poetry etc. INTJs would prefer small get-togethers with carefully selected friends or like-minded acquaintances with whom they can discuss ideas, tips or theories which they find intriguing.
🔹 You can Inn-sha-Allah get along harmoniously with any MBTI personality type if:
1] You both understand each other's language, dialect or way of speaking, while the respect is mutual.
2] Jealousy, pride/kibr, selfishness, insecurities, lies or suspicion do not get in the way of your dealings and interactions.
3] You can stay patient, lenient, and forgiving for Allah's sake with one another mutually.
4] You have several qualities, interests, or life experiences in common.
5] You both sincerely strive to do what Allah the Almighty likes, not mainly what your nafs or ego desires.

📖 Anas Ibn Malik RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The believer is one who is trusted by the people. The Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe (not guilty of backbiting, telling lies, and knowingly committing injustice). The emigrant (muhaajir) is one who emigrates away from evil.
By the One (Allah the Almighty) in Whose Hand is my soul, a servant will not enter Paradise if his neighbor is not secure from his harm."

Poem: Sometimes Some People Detach Themselves From You To Protect You Both From Fitna

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Just as germaphobes don't touch objects that carry grime,
And those on a diet avoid carbs or minimize
Weight gain by drinking water to reduce appetite,
Some users who may have caught feelings for you online
May unfriend or unfollow you so their faith can thrive.
~•~
Perhaps they got tired of feeling excited each time
They saw you update or share info on your timeline,
While the growing attraction they try to fight inside
Inspire them to fantasize about you or descry
You in dreams from which they rise and ghusl is required.
~•~
Their choice to stop spoiling you with reactions and likes
To your comments and posts doesn't at all signify
That they hate you. No. Their care for you can't be denied.
They love you so much that they're willing to sacrifice
Fitna and zina, so you both deserve Paradise.
~•~
Think of restrained vampires that refuse to take a bite
Out of the necks of potential victims whom they like.
Oftentimes someone who loves you would push you aside
To protect you from their ills or dangers they may hide,
And they're afraid of losing self-control anytime.
~•~
For Allah's sake accept His Decree when some decide
To emotionally disconnect from you online.
Rather than wanting you more when you're seen left and right,
They pray for you sometimes and love you from the sidelines,
Seeking Jannah where hearts aren't tested with desires.

Poem: Three Ways To Respond To Rudeness And Spiteful Comments

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Three ways to respond to insults and hurtful comments,
So you stay firm for Allah, not swayed by His servants:
You can return an insult with a witty comment,
Agree with critics then ask rhetorical questions,
Or ignore their ignorance with rewarding patience.
~•~
For instance, if someone tells you "you're nasty", "you stink",
Answer with "well, at least the smell of perspiration
Can easily vanish by changing clothes and bathing,
While your disgusting speech and depressing upbringing
May take ages to be fixed for your development."
~•~
If some address you with "shorty" or "tiny person",
Say "you're short too, when compared to tall trees and mountains.".
If told "you've gained so much weight. You look better when slim.",
Tell them "I know. But no one asked for your opinion."
~•~
If called "ugly", answer "say that to your reflection."
Or question "are you training yourself to be champion
At verbalizing nonsense? Or are you showcasing
The fact you're a sad product of negligent parents
Who failed in teaching good manners and educating?"
~•~
If some accuse you of "riyaa", "wanting attention",
Chillax, trust Allah the Most Just and the All-Knowing,
Don't get upset by lies, lame jokes, and false assumptions.
How foes and opponents treat you is a reflection
Of their sorrow that stems from envy or self-loathing.
~•~
Other times better than responding is wise silence.
Ignoring liars' insults doubles their annoyance.
Refusing to interact with troublesome persons
Shows you know they're incapable of understanding
Your language, thus they're not worthy of your attention.
~•~
Confident happy souls don't walk around insulting
Others, even if "insults" come with legit reasons.
Somebody's rude or unfair treatment is evidence
They're either envious of your joys and achievements,
Or your strong faith and confidence intimidate them.
~•~
📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The strong believer is more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, but there is goodness in both of them. Be eager for what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not be frustrated. If something befalls you, then do not say: 'If only I had done something else.' Rather say: "Allah has decreed what He wills." Verily, the phrase ‘if only’ opens the way for the work of shaytan."

Poem: Dear Muslim Wife, Understand That Your Husband Also Has Feelings. Apply Empathy.

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Note to self, and reminder to loyal, grateful wives:
The man who was selected by Allah the Most Wise
As your soulmate and travel buddy to Paradise
Has feelings too. While at times he can laugh, joke and smile,
Oftentimes there will be moments when he needs to cry.
~•~
Your husband, a human, may shed tears when he sometimes
Feels stressed by countless trials and challenges in life,
When guilt engulfs him for not fulfilling his wife's rights,
When he can't always meet the needs of his children/child,
Or when he solves problems only for more to arise.
~•~
Don't view him as a knight in shining armor who likes
Rescuing damsels in distress every day and night,
Without support like he symbolizes "perfect might".
Stand by his side or comfort him whenever he's tired,
And keep calm when tiredness ignites the urge to start fights.
~•~
Due to stress, he may speak angrily once in a while,
Answer your messages after some days have gone by,
And respond to you in ways you're tempted to describe
Him as "bad-tempered", "moody", "too bossy" or "unkind".
You'd tolerate his flaws if your love isn't a lie.
~•~
Even well-designed robots require charging sometimes.
Don't be surprised if your spouse isn't himself at times.
Guys also have feelings. Let your partner verbalize
And show you, his wife, precisely how he feels inside.
Patience is a must-have to ensure blessed marriage life.
~•~
Your husband isn't abusive if he was beguiled,
Badly influenced or affected by evil eyes,
Advised by toxic friends or relatives who dislike
Seeing you two thriving towards Jannah with delight,
Or sorcery was carried out by foes from outside.
~•~
When it seems as though he's struggling with nosy spies
Who command him to treat you in a way that's not right,
Win this battle by not doing what shaytan desires,
Lovingly pray for your husband every day and night,
And don't let pride stop you both from earning Paradise.
~•~
📖 Narrated Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: On Eid-ul-Fitr or Eid-ul-Adha, Allah's Messenger SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam went out to the Musalla. After finishing the prayer, he delivered the sermon and ordered the people to give alms (charity). He said, "O people! Give alms." Then he went towards the women and said. "O women! Give alms, for I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-Fire were you (women)." The women asked, "O Allah's Messenger! What is the reason for it?" He replied, "O women! You curse frequently, and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. O women, some of you can lead a cautious wise man astray." Then he left. And when he reached his house, Zainab, the wife of Ibn Mas`ud, came and asked permission to enter It was said, "O Allah's Messenger! It is Zainab." He asked, 'Which Zainab?" The reply was that she was the wife of Ibn Mas'ud. He said, "Yes, allow her to enter." And she was admitted. Then she said, "O Prophet of Allah! Today you ordered people to give alms and I had an ornament and intended to give it as alms, but Ibn Mas`ud said that he and his children deserved it more than anybody else." The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam replied, "Ibn Mas`ud had spoken the truth. Your husband and your children had more right to it than anybody else."

Poem: Some Questions To Ask Yourself To Check If A Friendship Is Worth Keeping

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Some questions to ask yourself to help in deciding
Whether your friendship with someone is worth maintaining,
So your love isn't wasted, they can quit pretending,
And you reserve your kindness for those more deserving
Of your care, attention, patience, and supplications:
~•~
Are they ungrateful? Do they act like they've forgotten
All those moments when you tried to be helpful to them?
Have you known their names for more than five years yet something
Tells you they're toxic, from them you can't learn anything,
And you're better off without their disturbing presence?
~•~
Are their answers to your messages delayed often
Not because they're working but due to narcissism,
To keep you waiting, as though your life depends on them?
Are their manners ugly? Do they scowl and stay silent
Usually when you greet them to soothe their self-loathing?
~•~
Are they shy when you're around yet when you start walking,
They discuss you and indulge in lousy backbiting?
Do they answer your queries with vague and curt statements,
As though your goals and confidence intimidate them?
Does your faith/Imaan clash with their lies and bad acting?
~•~
Do they distract you from Allah? Each time they're present,
Do you doubt yourself or notice your moods worsening?
If you responded with 'yes' to the above questions
And this wrong "friend" acts like a spy for your opponents,
Avoid them for Allah. Allah's Love is sufficient.
~•~

Poem: Checklist To Find Out If Someone Is A Righteous Friend

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 Checklist to find out if someone is a righteous friend,
If loving them for Allah is indeed a blessing,
And they deserve your trust, support, and supplications,
As they inspire you to become a better Muslim,
And each time you talk to them your faith/Imaan strengthens:
~•~
Do they strive to serve Allah with correct intention?
Are they honest with you, not guilty of deception?
Are they grateful for Allah's gifts and what He destines,
While they're not jealous of your merits and achievements?
Do they care more about your heart than your appearance?
~•~
When you sneeze, do they respond with proper reaction?
When you fall or make mistakes, do they avoid laughing,
And instead help you stand up or fix your shortcomings?
When you disappoint them, do they keep calm with patience?
Are they resilient, forgiving, and understanding?
~•~
Do they get angry when some defy Allah's Rulings?
Do they defend Allah's Rights when His Laws are broken?
Do they speak up for you in awkward situations,
Console you when you're sad, and offer some assistance?
Is Tahajjud from their routine when most are sleeping?
~•~
Do they make effort to stay away from backbiting,
Gossiping, lying, and spreading wrong information?
Do they share authentic Islamic knowledge often?
Do they respect your need for space and quiet moments?
With your progress or delayed replies are they patient?
~•~
Are they aware of their role, this world's impermanence,
And which routes to take to win on the Day of Judgment?
Do they drive you to wear hijaab and modest clothing?
Do they warn you against crimes, envy, and wrongdoings?
Have they told you they pray for you every now and then?
~•~
Do they grant freebies without expecting anything?
Are they free from suspicion, envious resentment,
And the urge to avenge their ego when you hurt them?

Such friend is worth keeping. For Allah, don't quit on them.

Poem: Patience Is Necessary For Friendship And Marriage To Last Longer

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 A clear sign that a Muslim loves you for Allah's sake,
Whether they're a friend or your spouse and destined soulmate,
Is having strength and stamina to patiently wait
For your progress, to forgive your recurrent mistakes,
And tolerate your flaws or messages you delay.
~•~
If you do things which signal "leave me" or "go away",
They'd react with "I'm not leaving you. I choose to stay,
And if ever you flee or disappear for some days,
I guarantee that my care for you won't dissipate.
Because I love you for Allah, I'll love you always."
~•~
Can you be patient with some friends if they misbehaved
One day, as they were going through a difficult phase?
Can you put up with friends whose replies are often late,
As they're striving to survive with too much on their plate?
Patience is easy if you love them for Allah's sake.
~•~
A good friend declining your invite can sometimes ache,
Frequent disappointments may bring emotional pain,
And a friend's choice to cancel plans certainly frustrates,
But if you wholeheartedly love them for Allah's sake,
Despite letdowns and slip-ups, your friendship stays the same.
~•~
For long-standing friendship or marriage to instigate,
Ensure that prideful ego doesn't get in the way.
If someone whom you love for Allah's sake terminates
Friendliness with you, while you did your utmost to save
The connection, you can still love them from far away.
~•~
📖 Ibn Abbas RadhiAllahu 'anhuma narrated: The Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said to Al-Ashajj 'Abdul Al-Qays RadhiAllahu 'anhu, "Verily, you have two qualities which are beloved to Allah. They are forbearance and patience."
In another narration, the Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "They are forbearance and modesty."

📖 Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Some people from the Ansaar asked the Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam and he gave them. Then they asked for charity again and he SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam gave them. Then they asked again and he SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam gave them until all he had was gone. The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "If I had anything, I would not withhold it. Whoever refrains from asking others, then Allah will make him content. Whoever would be independent, then Allah will make him independent. Whoever would be patient, then Allah will make him patient. There is no gift that is better and more comprehensive than patience."

Note: Some Of The Differences Between Eid Al-Adha And Eid Al-Fitr

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
🗒️ Some of the differences between Eid Al-Adha and Eid Al-Fitr:
1] Before praying the Eid prayer on Eid Al-Fitr, the Muslims are encouraged to pay the Zakat Al-Fitr to compensate for any shortcomings and mistakes they may have committed anytime in Ramadan. There is no specific Sadaqa / charity or amount of money to be given before praying the Eid prayer on Eid Al-Adha.
2] Before the Eid prayer on Eid Al-Fitr, it is Sunnah to eat an odd number of dates, also to emphasize the fact that one isn't fasting since it is Eid. In contrast, it is closer to the Sunnah of the noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam to not eat anything before the Eid prayer on Eid Al-Adha. After the Eid prayer on Eid Al-Adha, the Muslims can eat from the udh-hiya that they sacrificed for Allah's sake or which were donated to them as charity.
3] The Eid Al-Adha prayer is prayed at an earlier timing than the Eid Al-Fitr prayer so that the Muslims on Eid Al-Fitr have more chances to pay their Zakat Al-Fitr while the Muslims who intend to carry out the animal sacrifice can start sacrificing on Yawm An-Nahr (the day of sacrifice) after the Eid prayer.
🔹 Notes regarding Eid Al-Adha:
1] While praying the Eid prayer is a highly recommended Sunnah (not obligatory), it is better for women, even if they have their monthly period or postpartum menstruation, to attend the Eid assembly/gathering not only to enjoy the blessed atmosphere of Eid but also to benefit from the Islamic reminders in the Eid sermons / Khutbah.
2] Muslim women should avoid wearing perfume, tight and transparent clothes, and heavy makeup whenever they are in the presence of non-mahram males.
3] It is Sunnah to say the Takbeer and Dhikr "Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar. Laa ilaaha ilAllah. Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar. Wa LillaahilHamd." as often as you can on the night before Eid Al-Adha and on the three days of Tashreeq (11th, 12th and 13th of Dhul-Hijjah).
Allah the Almighty knows best.
~•~
📖 Umm 'Atiyyah RadhiAllahu 'anha narrated: 'We were ordered to come out on the day of Eid, even the young girls and menstruating women from their houses. We would stand behind the men and declare the Greatness of Allah (say the Takbeeraat regularly) along with them, and supplicate to Allah along with them, hoping for the blessings of that day and its purification from sin.'

Poem: It's Okay To Not Be Liked By Everyone On Earth

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Prophet Yusuf ('alaihis salaam) was once sold at a very small price,
Although his value to Allah was special and high.
The Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) when in Taif he arrived
Didn't receive a welcome which was friendly and nice,
While he has the best manners and by Allah he's liked.
~•~
Diamonds in a forest may not be recognized
And valued by bears that prefer honey and beehives.
A golden pen and mirror in a junkyard at night
Stay ignored by flies although their substance is still fine,
While those same bugs are attracted to trash and bright light.
~•~
Not all humans on earth share the same likes and dislikes.
Your confident vibes may inspire strong types to admire,
While those who feel insecure may get provoked with fright.
Though some appreciate it when you joke, laugh and smile,
Others respect you if you're quiet most of the time.
~•~
Recall how many times you had to ignore online
Text, photos and video clips designed to advertise
Products which make you ponder or wonder from inside,
"I can't afford that.", "I can't relate.", "Nope. Not my style.",
"I don't get their language." or "Could be a bunch of lies."
~•~
Remind yourself that even if by some you're disliked,
What matters more is you have Allah's Love day and night.
If you're with the guided few who strive for Paradise,
Don't be surprised if those who desire this worldly life
Clash with you and your true worth they fail to recognize.

Tips: Good Deeds Which Muslimahs In Their Monthly Period Can Do On Yawm 'Arafah

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
📋 Some good deeds which females in their monthly period (or nifaas / postpartum menstruation) can do on Yawm 'Arafah:
1] Prepare the Suhoor and Iftaar meals to Muslims who are fasting.
2] Regularly say as many Du'a and Adhkaar as you can, specially "Laa ilaaha ilAllah, Wahdahu laa shareeka Lah, Lahul Mulk, wa Lahul Hamd, wa Huwa 'ala kulli shai-in Qadeer.", Takbeer and Istighfaar.
3] Read some verses from the Noble Qur'an through mobile application, website or Mushaf with thick clean gloves.
4] Listen to Islamic lectures, browse through some Islamic articles, share helpful reminders and authentic knowledge of Islam on social media.
5] Take care of the infants and young kids of the Muslims while they pray, say Du'a and have their Iftaar.

Poem: Advice To Muslim Reverts And Those Without Trusted Friends On What They Can Do On Eid

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Advice to Muslim reverts, those who have recently
Accepted Islam as their way of life and belief,
Those who hide the fact they're Muslims from their families,
Or whose acceptance of Islam got them currently
Ostracized, and oftentimes they feel lonely on Eid:
~•~
Realize Allah is with you each moment you breathe,
Allah knows every thought you think of, words you don't speak,
What's best for you in both worlds, what your soul truly needs,
And who from His creation deserves your company,
Like-minded friends who won't spoil your soul's integrity.
~•~
If finding trustworthy companions isn't easy,
Or your longtime friends reside in another city,
Or potential buddies most of the time seem busy,
Don't worry, there are ways to enjoy Eid's atmosphere,
Without attending gatherings and festivities.
~•~
Be more kind to yourself on Eid. Buy yourself a treat,
A cake to savor with a new book or warm coffee,
Milk tea or ice-cream to enjoy as you browse or read
Online writings or watch vids which enhance self-esteem,
Or relish your fave dish, or try random recipes.
~•~
Stroll around your yard, garden, a park, retreat, or beach,
Reflect on nature made by Allah beautifully,
While saying some Adhkaar and Du'a reflectively,
Grateful that Allah guided you to the right belief,
Not one bit lonely, as Allah is at all times near.

Poem: Five Reasons Why We May Like Some Souls For Allah's Sake

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Five likely reasons why we gravitate to some souls,
Why we relate to some, while with others we're not close,
Why we can tolerate them although their flaws are shown,
And though we don't exchange daily messages and calls,
We love them for Allah, and with them we get along:
~•~
One: We feel safe around them, as they don't judge at all.
When we speak, they listen, without making their eyes roll.
Whether we've gained some weight or we don't have makeup on,
Or we're sweaty from stress, or they see our messy home,
They sympathize and don't rush to criticize or scold.
~•~
Two: They've been so helpful and kind many times before,
Gave advice and showed support while others closed their doors,
And they return our kindness when we do them favors.
Three: They remind us of ourselves, we share the same goals,
And convos aren't awkward, as they help in self-growth.
~•~
Four: Interacting with them inspires our faith to grow,
When we read their tips, reminders and Islamic posts,
And receive warnings whenever we do something wrong.
Five: Our connection was planned by Allah long ago.
Those who were meant to like us can't be swiftly abhorred.
~•~
When Allah the Most Wise connects us with special souls,
There's wisdom in our meeting, and our bond must stay strong -
To motivate each other to obey Allah's Laws,
And work together in attaining Jannah's entrance.
Don't let shaytan break this friendship through pride and ego.
~•~

Tips: Some Notes Regarding The Animal Sacrifice On Eid Al-Adha

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
🗒️ Some notes regarding the udh-hiya (animal sacrifice):
🔹 Its ruling: Sunnah muakkada (emphasized Sunnah). There is reward in carrying out the sacrifice for Allah's sake. There is no punishment if a Muslim does not perform it, especially if they are physically unable or can't afford to do so.
🔹 When can the sacrifice be done: After praying the Eid prayer, while the sun is completely up, on Eid Al-Adha (Yawm An-Nahr) or during any of the following days of Tashreeq (11th, 12th and 13th of Dhul-Hijjah). One shouldn't be fasting on ayyaam At-Tashreeq.
🔹 Allah the Almighty knows best. Muslims who intend to make a sacrifice on Eid Al-Adha must avoid trimming their nails and hair strands from the moment they established their niyyah/intention on the last day of Dhul-Qi'dah. If a Muslim was unaware of this ruling, they can continue with their intention to sacrifice while avoiding trimming their nails and cutting any part of their hair on the following days, particularly on Friday/Jumuah when it is Sunnah to trim one's fingernails and toenails.
🔹 What are the animals that can be sacrificed: Goat, cow, sheep, ram, camel. The animal to be sacrificed for Allah's sake should be mature and in good condition.
🔹 What to say before sacrificing, while making sure that the knife is nicely sharp: "Bismillah. Allahu Akbar."
🔹 What is the purpose or intention of sacrificing on Yawm An-Nahr or on any of the days of Tashreeq? To follow the Sunnah of the beloved Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam, seeking to be closer to Allah the Most Merciful, and aiming to attain more rewards.
🔹 To whom can parts of the animal sacrifice be distributed: To the less fortunate, the poor or financially struggling, to one's family and relatives, to Muslim friends, and to neighbors whether they are Muslim or not Muslim yet.
🔹 Can the sacrifice be done on behalf of the dead? Sacrificing on behalf of living Muslims takes priority over sacrificing on behalf of the deceased. If a Muslim wants to sacrifice on behalf of some dead Muslims, he/she must also include Muslims who are still alive.
🔹 What should one's niyyah/intention be in distributing the portions of the sacrificed animal (cow, goat etc. without specified weight) to the needy? To do charity/sadaqah to seek closeness to Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala and to sincerely follow the Sunnah of the noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam in distributing the udh-hiya on Eid Al-Adha or on any of the three days of Tashreeq.

Poem: Patiently Accepting Polygyny For Allah's Sake Doesn't Equate To "Normalizing Cheating"

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 A patient wife's choice to let her husband remarry
Does not mean she's too weak that she lets her soulmate "cheat".
A Muslimah's patience with Allah's Qadr/Decree
To allow men to care for multiple wives fairly
Does not equate to "normalizing cheating", really.
~•~
If you wish to ensure that your husband never "cheats",
Keep him in your house, monitor when and why he leaves,
So he's shielded from glancing at ladies in the streets,
Stopped from dealing with female customers and colleagues,
And see if you can freeze his heart too so he can't "feel".
~•~
Allah the Most Wise knows best. Most men generally
Are polygynous, capable of loving many
Women equally, specially if their looks vary,
From fair and lovely to dark beauty, slightly heavy
To slim - each lady with her own personality.
~•~
If you, as your husband's wife, can sense undoubtedly
That he likes another lady romantically,
Warn him to lower his gaze and fear Allah, firstly,
To change jobs or work nearby him if necessary,
And remind him there's penalty in adultery.
~•~
Then inform him that if his feelings for her are real,
It's his right to legalize that love and remarry,
While you gain more of Allah's Love as you patiently
Train yourself to stay strong, accept Allah's Destiny,
And silence the proud ego that fears polygyny.
~•~

Note: Three Likely Reasons Why Some People Are Not Affected By The Evil Eye

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 On the day after our wedding, some time in Shawwal 2006, I remember my husband strangely suffering from fever or high body temperature, when he seemed okay, energetic and cheerful the other day. When I was a teenager during our travel to Indonesia at an Islamic institute, there was a crowd of female students sitting around me, staring while some of them were telling me how pretty I looked. My late mom (Allah yarhamha. Ameen.) and I were in the females' section at a Masjid so we temporarily took off our niqab/face-veil. Immediately the next day I had fever and pimples or multiple rashes around my face. That took place when I was a "music addict", occasionally drew sketches of living beings which Muslims aren't supposed to draw, and wasn't religious so much so that I didn't know the virtues of saying the morning and evening Adhkaar unlike now Alhamdulillah.
The evil eye isn't a myth. It is real. A lot of individuals from different cults even believe that it's not a joke, which is why some non-Muslims wear talismans, amulets or special accessories designed to safeguard themselves from witchcraft, voodoo spells and negative energy. Such methods of shielding oneself obviously contradict the tradition of the noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam and since many of these self-preserving practices involve requesting assistance from jinn or demons, they could ultimately lead to kufr/disbelief or shirk/polytheism.
Some people though, in spite of being exposed to the public a lot, don't show any signs of being affected or badly impacted by the evil eye. For instance, a number of celebrities, bands, politicians, instagrammers, or famous YouTubers, despite performing several times on stage, being interviewed in front of a large audience, or broadcasting their lavish lifestyles through frequently uploaded photos and vlogs... they still seem fine and unaffected by 'ayn or evil eye which usually occurs when an intensely envious person emits jealous vibes or hatred towards those whom they envy.
📋 Three possible reasons why some people are immune or incapable of receiving any impact from someone's evil eye:
1] Their trust and faith in Allah the Almighty are very high. They regularly say Du'a, as well as the morning and evening Adhkaar, and effectively shield themselves with steadfast Taqwa, frequent recitation of Ayatul Kursi along with other verses and chapters from the Noble Qur'an. Plus they try their best for Allah's sake to abstain from sins which can make humans more vulnerable to shaytan's deception and cunning tricks.
2] Allah the Almighty knows best. Since the evil eye may generally be transmitted from dark souls or individuals whose hearts are spiritually impure (due to jealousy, suspicion and wishing evil on others), their effects cannot reach similarly dark souls or hearts that are already broken, disturbed or spoiled. If you were to hold two magnets with the negative sides or north poles pointing towards each other, you'd notice that the two resembling points cause an instant repelling reaction. No matter how much you try to place the same poles of two magnets near each other (blue side with blue, or red with red), they quickly repel one another because their energy is completely identical, just as fictional zombies won't run after other zombies and vampires normally don't attack fellow vampires.
3] They likely protect themselves from bad energy by relying on magic spells, incantations or jewelry specially worn to counteract and prevent the evil eye. This way of protecting oneself must be strictly avoided, to stay away from kufr/disbelief and shirk/polytheism.
Of course nothing on earth can occur unless Allah the Most Wise destines it. While the evil eye may overtake Allah's Qadr/Decree (for example if it was decreed that a certain man would live until his late 50s, his vulnerability to the evil eye or negligence with regard to his faith/Imaan may shorten his lifespan so he dies from a car accident before his preordained age), the negative impacts of the evil eye come with a reason - to remind us, as Allah's servants, to:
1] Keep trusting Allah the Most Loving, remembering Him day and night with humility as many times as we can.
2] Stay away from pridefully showing off what Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala gave us, as if we're the ones who invented them, unless displaying them and helpfully informing others about them (while remaining grateful to Allah the Almighty) are done for a good purpose.
3] Continue striving to be worthy of Jannah Paradise where no evil eye nor envious souls can steal anybody's happiness and sources of perfect joy.

📖 Ibn Abbas RadhiAllahu 'anhuma narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu' alaihi wa sallam said, "The evil eye is true. If anything could outrun the decree (Qadr/Destiny), it would be outran by the evil eye. When you perform a ritual bath, wash well."

Poem: A Few Tips On Dealing With Awkward Moments

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Some tips on how to deal with awkward situations,
How to keep cool, defeat feelings of embarrassment,
And seem confident or unfazed when some are laughing
At you or blushing when embarrassing things happen,
As you're here to serve Allah, not amuse His servants:
~•~
When you stumble or slip while you're casually walking,
Rise back up and confidently continue moving.
If you're surrounded by friends or spectators staring,
Wave your right hand and greet them with dashing confidence,
Or resume strolling like your fall is not a problem.
~•~
If you're in a group, and wish to ask or say something,
But nobody seemed to hear your question or statement,
Repeat it but with louder and clearer utterance,
Or calmly sigh and tell yourself "oh well..." from within,
"Maybe Allah wants that I skip it and stay silent.".
~•~
If an item fell while you were holding tons of things,
Or portions of a dish dropped while serving or eating,
And some cringe at your clumsiness in most gatherings,
Laugh about it, or embrace the fact you're different.
How Allah sees us matters more than what His slaves think.
~•~
Understand you're human, with flaws and imperfections.
Other humans too go through awkward moments often.
Learn from your mistakes and people's random shortcomings.
Allah may grant awkwardness as a hidden blessing
To always seek His Guidance and avoid arrogance.

Poem: Signs That A Much Older Person Is Jealous Of You

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Three obvious signs that an elder person envies you,
Whether they're your aunt who can't admit they're insecure,
A teacher who doesn't want you to succeed at school,
A professor who finds faults with many things you do,
Or an older cousin who disdains what you value:
~•~
First sign: Despite being older, they seem immature.
They'd go out of their way to spoil your plans and good moods,
Make you feel ignored online and offline, and exclude
You from events while they invite friends you know and knew,
And, all in all, they treat you in a manner that's rude.
~•~
Second: Since they're jealously threatened by your virtues
And your confidence or strong faith frightens their repute,
Sincere advice and tips towards success they refuse
To share, in spite of having done the same things you do.
Envy prevents them from wanting to see you improve.
~•~
Third: They're quiet when you thrive or express gratitude,
Yet as soon as they spot mistakes in the things you do,
They quickly criticize you, ridicule and rebuke,
As if your faults and failures rejuvenate their mood.
Intense jealousy proves they're not morally mature.
~•~
How to deal with an older person who envies you:
Firstly, thank Allah that you're unlike them - insecure.
Jealous souls are unhappy from inside, that's for sure.
Withhold secrets from them, and convos with them reduce.
Maintain grateful, composed, and confident attitude.
~•~

Poem: To Receive Allah's Mercy, Don't Cut Off Ties With Your Family And Relatives Purposely

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 In the past many from the pious had enemies
And critics from their own flesh and blood, their families,
Who opposed them due to a difference in beliefs,
Who refused to support them because of jealousy,
And who abandoned them despite being family.
~•~
From them were Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) who was unjustly
Rebuked by Abu Lahab who stuck to misbelief,
Ibrahim ('alaihis salaam) who tried to advise his father kindly,
Nuh ('alaihis salaam) who did his best to save his son from fallacies,
And Yusuf ('alaihis salaam) who put up with his half-brothers' envy.
~•~
So if you receive unkind treatment from some aunties,
If you've been the victim of some cousins' mockery,
If you have a sibling who despises your hobbies,
A child who often deals with you disrespectfully,
Or loved ones who ignore you online and locally,
~•~
Maintain ties with them for Allah's sake courageously
With patience applied sincerely and consistently.
Say salaam to them and respond whenever they greet,
Don't act like you didn't see them when you're in the streets,
And grant them what they need whenever you have the means.
~•~
From contacting you don't prevent them arrogantly,
And unblock them if you've blocked their accounts previously.
Try to visit them when you have the ability,
Advise them when you can and pray for them frequently.
Maintain family ties to deserve Allah's Mercy.

Poem: Clear Signs Of Jealous People Even If They Deny Their Jealousy

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 Not every adult would admit they're jealous of you,

Since envy shows they feel inferior and insecure,

Unsatisfied with Allah's Qadr, awfully consumed

With jealousy that provokes them to be foul and rude.

~•~

Signs that indicate someone's feeling very jelly:

You're not friends online yet they stalk you quite hatefully,

Scanning your posts for mistakes and inaccuracies,

And searching for your mishaps to laugh at miserably.

~•~

They claim you're a "narcissist", that you're "full of yourself",

When you're trying to educate, motivate or help.

The light within your heart intimidates their dark selves

And your bright confidence only causes them to wilt.

~•~

These envious darkened hearts that breed their own sadness

Typically use people as topics for cheap gossip.

Too cowardly to confront you, they get all quiet

When you glance at their scowls that show they're lost in unrest.

~•~

Feel sorry for those guilty of crab mentality

Who question Allah's Wisdom and Qadr/Destiny,

Who grant you some of their good deeds each time they envy

Or carry your sins when they mistreat you jealously.

Note: On The Virtues Of The First Ten Days Of Dhul-Hijjah

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
📜 Question: Which is better, the last ten nights of Ramadan, or the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah?
📝 Answer: The last ten nights of Ramadan are better in terms of doing good deeds at night, particularly since Laylatul Qadr takes place in one of these nights. The first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah are better in terms of doing good deeds in the daytime, because Yawm 'Arafah occurs on the ninth day and it is followed by the day of sacrifice (Yawm An-Nahr, a term also referring to Eid Al-Adha), and these two are from the best days of the year. This is what has been deduced according to the majority of trusted scholars and students of knowledge.
So the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah are better concerning doing good deeds for Allah's sake during daylight, while the last ten nights of Ramadan are better with regard to doing good deeds for Allah's sake in the evening, as in it is Laylatul Qadr and those nights are the best nights of the year.
Allah the Almighty knows best.
From the Fataawa of sheikh AbdulAziz Ibn Baz (May Allah have mercy on him. Ameen.)

Hadith: Regarding The Udhiyah And Fasting On Yawm 'Arafah

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

🗒️ Inn-sha-Allah before Sunday July 11 (first of DhulHijjah) those who have the intention to sacrifice a goat, sheep or cow must avoid trimming their nails and cutting any hair strand (regardless of their length and even on Jumuah Friday) until they've carried out the sacrifice after praying the Eid prayer on Eid Al-Adha (Tuesday July 20).
Reminder to non-pilgrims to Inn-sha-Allah fast Sunnah fasts from tomorrow until and including Yawm 'Arafah (Monday July 19).
Good deeds in these special ten days will
Inn-sha-Allah be rewarded immensely because unlike in Ramadan when the gates of Paradise are opened while the shayateen are chained, only a special few recognize the value of striving to please Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala in these best days of the year.
Allah the Almighty knows best.
📖 Umm Salamah RadhiAllahu 'anha narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "If the ten days of Dhul Hijjah begin and one of you intends to sacrifice (a goat, sheep, cow, camel) let him not remove anything from his hair or skin (until they sacrificed the sacrificial animal after the Eid prayer on Eid Al-Adha)."

Poem: What You Can Do To Avoid Feeling "Inadequate" Or "Inferior"

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 When you walk by some people who are taller than you,
Instead of feeling inadequate or insecure,
Recall those who are shorter, those with legs but can't move
Unless they have a wheelchair or crutches they can use,
And those with dwarfism who often get ridiculed.
~•~
When you meet couples who married earlier than you,
And they bring up many kids while you have less than two,
Recall those without partners who contentedly choose
To stay single and marriage proposals they refuse.
Marrying isn't crucial for one's life to improve.
~•~
When you come across vlogs of socialities on YouTube,
Videos of grand house tours and reviews of luscious food,
Remember the homeless, refugees worldwide, the poor,
Those who are in jail and can't request what to consume,
And patients who receive nutrients by way of tubes.
~•~
When you encounter professionals more skilled than you,
Or peers who surpass you in some things you like to do,
Recall those with special needs, those who dropped out of school,
And those who, though without degrees, are business tycoons.
In your grave, good deeds matter more than misused fortune.
~•~
As Muslims, be grateful for the gifts Allah gave you,
And don't let constant comparison spoil current moods.
Just as trees, seas and mountains have their own pleasant views,
While butterflies, eagles and owls have their own virtues,
Allah blessed you too. Strive with patience and gratitude.
~•~

Poem: Allah Never Treats His Servants Unjustly. Don't Be Too Hard On Yourself. Do Good Deeds Consistently.

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Allah the Most Kind knows you're not a superhuman,
You're not infallible nor free from imperfections.
Allah the Most Loving expects you, as His servant,
To obey His Laws, avoid what He has forbidden,
And do your best to serve Him till you return to Him.
~•~
Allah is fully aware that there will be moments
When you struggle with frequent fatigue, stress and mood swings,
When you miss Tahajjud on some nights as you're sleeping,
Or miss a Sunnah fast when you lack motivation.
Allah sees your struggles and current situation.
~•~
Allah wants us to worship Him with right intention,
Without being extremists, purposely negligent,
And without forgetting that He's the Most Forgiving.
Allah may love us more when we do other actions
Which please Him to compensate for our past shortcomings.
~•~
When accursed shaytan whispers, "Look at you, pretending
To be pious and perfect when you've got an audience,
Yet privately you're guilty of many wrongdoings.
Quit your efforts. There's no way that you'll be forgiven.",
Increase good deeds, do Tawbah, shun shaytan's deceptions.
~•~
You missed Qiyaam Al-Layl? Pray Duha in the morning.
Couldn't fast a Sunnah fast which you perform often?
Do charity, feed stray cats, console a sad Muslim,
Babysit kids, or share tips to benefit someone.
Allah loves it when you're consistent and keep trying.

When he draws near to Me by the span of his hand, I draw near him by the length of a cubit. When he draws near Me by the length of a cubit, I draw near him by the length of a fathom. Note: On Inner Beauty And Trying To Look Good On The Outside

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Some females only befriend women who appear as beautiful as them, while others would distance themselves from you if your beauty level is above average due to feeling jealously threatened and fearful that your good looks may outshine theirs. If you enter a cosmetics store looking pretty, some of the saleswomen would enthusiastically welcome you and treat you in a friendly manner. On the other hand, if your overall appearance isn't appealing enough, or you seem like a customer who can't afford branded products from Zara, Sephora and Forever 21 etc. you may receive unprofessional treatment from ignorant salesladies who despise you for your simplistic look without even knowing who you are.
Some men's marriage proposals get rejected simply because the women they were interested in marrying didn't find them handsome. A teacher may be more popular than the other teachers just for looking like a typical runway model. A student could either earn popularity among his/her peers for having a cute face or he/she may be hated by a squad of jealous bullies for looking better than them physically.
Having a beautiful heart is underrated, while making sure that one looks good or stays in shape is a priority for a lot of youths, particularly those who aspire to imitate their favorite celebrities many of whom undergo cosmetic surgery, or make-up guros on YouTube who indirectly cause certain viewers to think they don't look good enough when their make-up application is flawlessly on fleek.
As Muslims Alhamdulillah we must remind ourselves that Allah the Almighty created us to worship Him Only, not to impress His creation especially with superficial beauty. When we focus on pleasing Only Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala, people's criticism can't affect us negatively. Our hearts then remain at peace and radiate good energy or positive vibes which other beautiful souls can recognize easily. So if someone calls you 'pangit', 'ugly' or 'not pretty enough', just ask them "Oh is that your nickname? Interesting." or confidently say, "I never asked for your opinion. You can evaluate your own looks somewhere else. I am not a mirror, thank you." or walk away patiently, content with how Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala made you and grateful you're not like those rude individuals in being immature, uncivilized and incredibly insecure.
📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated that Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Verily, Allah does not look at your appearance nor wealth, but rather Allah looks at your hearts and actions."
