Tips: Some Ways To Respond To Being Told "You're Fat" Or "You've Gained Weight"

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Seventeen ways to respond when being called "fat", simply say:
1] "Alhamdulillah." (Thank Allah the Almighty for the many blessings He has given you, for giving you another chance to live and do good deeds, and for not making you a bully who's guilty of inferiority complex or jealousy.)
2] "Aww. You too.", "Ikaw rin.", "Ska mambu."
3] "Thanks, you're beautiful too!", "Salamat, maganda ka din!" or "Aydow, mataid ka mambu!"
4] "Yes I'm fat - fabulous, awesome, and terrific in terms of personality. You need to have yours fixed, dearie."
5] "No that's not me. My name is [mention your full name slowly then spell it several times if necessary]."
6] "Are you advertising your weight loss program? Because I'm not interested, thank you very much."
7] "At least I can exercise and go on a diet anytime I like, while trying to fix your bad character could take an awful lot of time."
8] "You've just noticed? Of course I'm fat, and I'm lovin' it."
9] "Yeah I'm chubby, but it's not as terrible as being judgmental."
10] "Last time I checked, I never hired you to be my nutrition coach. Thanks for caring though."
11] "Do you say that to every person you have a crush on?" If they answer 'no, to every person I hate', tell them "well, you know what some people say - 'the more you hate, the more you love'. I feel so flattered. The feeling is mutual."
12] "Is that a new word you've learned from the dictionary? Congratulations. Try looking up the definition for 'shallow', 'uncouth' and 'immature'. Methinks those adjectives describe you perfectly."
13] "Are you making a desperate attempt at acknowledging the fact you're insecure? Congrats, it's actually working."
14] "How adorable. I didn't know you could act like a fifth-grade bully. Can you impersonate a birdie and fly away from me?"
15] "Sorry, I don't give out awards for obnoxious personalities. Maybe you can hunt for your certificate of being 'lousy at basic ethics' someplace else."
16] "And? Who are you, 'miss universe'?"
17] "I wonder if there's an antidote to solve your ugly personality. If it's unsolvable, then you have my empathy."
...or without any comeback, patiently remain quiet. Calmly look at them with a smile as if you figured out the reason why they're being disrespectful is either because they're jealous of something you have which they obviously lack (such as confidence, inner beauty, satisfaction with one's life, proper upbringing, and pure heart) or someone from their family or workplace is bullying them so they can't resist the urge to pass their sadness on to you.

📖 Mu'adh Ibn Anas RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The best of faith is to love for the sake of Allah, to hate for the sake of Allah, and to keep your tongue busy in the remembrance of Allah." Mu'adh RadhiAllahu 'anhu said, “And what else, O Messenger of Allah?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "And that you love for the people what you love for yourself, and you hate for them what you hate for yourself, and you speak goodness or remain silent."

📖 Anas Ibn Malik RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The believer is one who is trusted by the people. The Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe (not guilty of backbiting, telling lies, and knowingly committing injustice). The emigrant (muhaajir) is one who emigrates away from evil.
By the One (Allah the Almighty) in Whose Hand is my soul, a servant will not enter Paradise if his neighbor is not secure from his harm."
