Tips: Some Telltale Signs Of An Envious Person And How I Deal With Jealous People

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

📜 Question: Enumerate some undeniable signs that a person intensely envies you? And how would you, as an INTJ, cope with such types of envious people?
📝 Answer: Some telltale signs that an insecure person feels terribly envious of you, whether they are a family member, colleague, classmate, teacher or an acquaintance:
1. It is evident that they generally treat most of your mutual acquaintances with courtesy while they behave towards you rudely and disrespectfully.
2. They fail to give you proper eye contact most of the time and smiling at you genuinely is an enormous challenge, since your overall presence significantly activates unpleasant feelings of extreme envy.
3. You seldom receive compliments from them or whenever you express joy, with gratitude to Allah the Almighty, they give you the silent treatment and act aloof.
4. They do whatever they can to copy and emulate you not out of admiration but in order to reach your level, or to surpass you, or to ensure that you don't appear or feel special at all.
5. Little by little they try to "steal" some of your close friends possibly via gossip or they regularly attempt to exclude you from their outings and group conversations (online and face to face). Seeing you upset or left out somehow alleviates their suffering endured through envying you.
✅ What I do once I figure out that an insecure person feels awfully envious of me:
1. Refuse to be affected by their infantile actions and misconduct.
2. Refrain from emulating their lousy lack of good manners.
3. Avoid them for Allah's sake as much as possible, since their tendency to surrender themselves to shameful envy simply shows they're untrustworthy.
4. Actively and deliberately stay away from checking any of the content they post on social media. I don't bother following users with potential to stir up drama or fitna.
5. Let them know that while I am entirely aware of their jealous emotion and ridiculous resentment against me, I'm not jelly (jealous) of them in any way by still treating them politely, confidently demonstrating fairness and empathy.
