🗒️ Allah the Almighty knows best. Yesterday Thursday there were some reminders from Facebook regarding the "birthday" of one of our late colleagues and former teachers sister Morsida Pandao who passed away in the previous year. Although I don't celebrate birthdays Alhamdulillah and never have celebrated anybody's birthday ever since our stay in Saudi Arabia for many years, I have some good memories Alhamdulillah of dear sister Morsida Pandao one of which was, besides her being a generally approachable Muslimah who had a cheerful countenance much of the time despite her health issues which she never informed us about until after it was obvious she wasn't feeling well, is that time on a Jumuah Friday when we prayed beside each other and she shared with me the prayer mat that she was praying on. I also recall how she often would read from the Noble Qur'an in a quiet corner while other teachers were working on some tasks etc. I feel a bit sad we couldn't pasyal pasyal together at least once due to busy schedules and insufficient funds on several occasions. But I ask Allah the Almighty to have mercy on dear sister Morsida Pandao and her family always, to reunite us with her in Jannah Paradise and to protect us from every torment of both worlds and bless us with full peace and contentment in this dunya, al-barzakh and the afterlife. Ameen. If I could send her a message, but I know for sure she can't read these messages because we're in different places, I would tell her that
Inn-sha-Allah we can meet again and have much better time and moments spent together in Jannah Paradise.
May Allah the Most Merciful forgive her if she had any debts and keep her at ease in this world and reunite us in Jannatul Ferdaus with Allah's Mercy. Ameen.
🌼 Abu Darda RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, “No Muslim servant supplicates for his brother (or sister in Islam) behind his (or her) back but that the angel says: "And for you the same."”
