💌 Three signs that a co-wife, relative, friend, neighbor, or colleague sometimes goes out of their way to make you feel envious:
1] You notice a pattern in them consistently trying to brag about something they have, accomplished, observed, did, or invented whenever you must interact with them. While they're delighted to lecture about themselves and their accomplishments as you attempt to listen patiently with empathy, they fall silent or act indifferent as soon as it's your turn to speak.
2] They almost never ask about how you're doing and they're rarely concerned for your loved ones, fearful that every time you share good news or several interesting aspects about yourself, they get emotionally provoked by envy.
3] You've noticed multiple times that after they've been obnoxiously acting like narcissistic braggarts, with zero interest to inspire anybody but inflate their ginormous ego, or carried out an immaturely passive-aggressive act, they give you a smug look as though they're patting themselves on the back, proud of one-upping you yet again.
🏳️ Three ways to cope with insecure individuals who would do anything idiotic to see you appear jealous:
1] Empathize. Visualize yourself as a compassionate kindergarten teacher who finds amusement in listening to the fabricated stories of selfish brats who demand attention, without feeling obliged to acknowledge their drama or false narrations.
2] Don't allow them to distract you from the countless blessings which Allah the Almighty wisely chose to give you. Maintain gratitude for what Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala granted. Avoid comparing your unique tests and development to others' exams and progress. Wolves and lions can't be their optimum selves if they constantly compete in attaining whatever goats and monkeys love to collect.
3] If their insecure vibes and negative energy are too intolerable for you, you have every right to unfollow them on social media and minimize trivial interactions with them, whilst still maintaining basic politeness. Your character, integrity, and morals mustn't be as low as theirs.

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the most false of tales. Do not seek out faults, do not spy on each other, do not contend with each other, do not envy each other, do not hate each other, and do not turn away from each other. Rather, be servants of Allah as brothers."
