🗒️ Question: How can you know when an INTJ personality type is just busy or if they are being avoidant?
📝 Answer: When someone with the INTJ personality type cares about you as a friend or loved one but they're preoccupied with several tasks which they're trying to complete:
1🔹 At least once every three months or so they make effort to visit you or contact you on social media, initiating chat conversations or commenting on at least one of your status updates.
2🔹 When speaking face-to-face and you're of the same gender, they look at you with a genuine smile, offer a hug or enthusiastic handshake, and occasionally give gentle pats on your shoulder or arm to display affection.
3🔹 Although they may seem in a hurry while interacting, they don't forget to ask how you're doing or request to send their salaams to your loved ones with whom they're familiar.
4🔹 You can tell they're not bothered by your delayed replies, just as they hope you'd have patience with their late responses, when they're able to continue your online conversations without scolding you about your inability to answer them earlier.
5🔹 From time to time they hand out freebies or gifts without asking for anything specific in return.
📨 When an INTJ is purposely avoiding you because they don't feel secure around you, they're trying to avoid gossip, or they dislike how you oppose their values (for example you disagree with polygyny which they advocate openly):
1] They deliberately refrain from asking you about your past, interests, and plans for the future even though INTJs are generally very curious and inquisitive when they find something or somebody intriguing.
2] Even if you're neighbors, coworkers or classmates, avoidant INTJs would do whatever they can to minimize unnecessary interactions with you. They'd rather find solutions to solve a problem by discussing their ideas with a cat (feral, domesticated, imaginary) than unwillingly interact with a person who is a threat to their values.
3] If you have mutual friends with an INTJ while they aren't connected to you on Facebook, an INTJ who is uninterested in building a connection with you would never stalk your timeline, respond to your comments, or type lengthy messages when chatting, although they're actually capable of talking for long periods if they discuss topics which interest them while they regard you as a trustworthy individual.
