Note: Sharing Some Advice And Tips On How To Protect Our Hearts As Muslims

Al-Nu’man ibn Bashir RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:

أَلَا وَإِنَّ فِي الْجَسَدِ مُضْغَةً إِذَا صَلَحَتْ صَلَحَ الْجَسَدُ كُلُّهُ وَإِذَا فَسَدَتْ فَسَدَ الْجَسَدُ كُلُّهُ أَلَا وَهِيَ الْقَلْبُ

Verily, in the body is a piece of flesh which, if sound, the entire body is sound, and if corrupt, the entire body is corrupt. Truly, it is the heart.

Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, “Verily, when the servant commits a sin, a black mark appears upon his heart. If he abandons the sin, seeks forgiveness, and repents, then his heart will be polished. If he returns to the sin, the blackness will be increased until it overcomes his heart. It is the covering that Allah (Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala) has mentioned: No, rather a covering is over their hearts from what they have earned.” (The Noble Qur'an 83:14)

Dear sisters in Islam of various ages and tribes,

Whether you're in college or you're done with high school life,

Or you manage a business, or you work late at night,

Or you're a busy teacher, nursing student, or wife,

Regardless of your background, please welcome some advice:

~•~

Sharing some advice, and Only Allah truly guides

Whom He Wills to the truth and to Jannah Paradise:

Dear sisters, protect your hearts with Dhikr day and night.

Humbly say Du'a. Ask Allah for your needs and likes.

Say Du'a especially during Qiyaam Al-Layl.

~•~

When supplicating to Allah don't feel shy to cry.

Allah the Most Wise hears us and sees us at all times.

Even for minor and simple things never feel shy

To ask Allah the All-Hearing for your needs and likes,

Like praying you'll marry a rich, righteous Muslim guy.

~•~

From the ways to shield your heart is to stay safe online.

Stay away from time-consuming reels and toxic vibes,

Far away from scammers, liars and clowns who backbite,

Away from doubtful content mostly made with AI,

And away from keyboard warriors who just waste our time.

~•~

Avoid all forms of fitna by choosing to be wise.

Be smart with spending money - myself I first remind.

Do charity when you can, and don't be way too kind -

Too kind that you end up with debts or forget your rights.

Teacups can't fill any mug if they're empty inside.

~•~

Another way to safeguard your heart is simply by

Abandoning every sin which Allah does not like.

Shun bid'ah, listening to music to pass the time,

Visiting fortunetellers who make money through lies,

Gambling and greedily desiring this worldly life.

~•~

More ways to ensure your heart is secure day and night,

With Allah's Will: Obey Allah. Respect Allah's Rights.

When trials sometimes arise, try not to question "why?"

But stay firm and pray that everything will be alright,

If not soon in this world then surely in Paradise.

~•~

Patiently accept Allah's Qadr when He denies,

When He rejects, declines or withholds from us at times,

Or when He delays certain things so we realize

Our shortcomings, so to do Tawbah we get inspired,

And so we don't overestimate ourselves with pride.

~•~

Another thing to keep in mind if we wish to thrive

With our faith Imaan levels remaining strong or high:

Continue seeking knowledge from sources which are right,

Read the Noble Qur'an often, more verses recite,

Shield ourselves with Dhikr from magic and evil eyes.

~•~

Detach from shameful traits like envying others' lives,

Nosily spying on strangers online and offline,

Showing ingratitude - not easily satisfied,

Disrespecting elders, to youngsters being unkind,

And immodesty in one's speech, actions and attire.

~•~

Don't copy silly trends. Your honor don't sacrifice.

All humans are imperfect. Don't chase applause and likes.

Don't follow crowds. Most people may not reach Paradise.

Don't go near injustice - even with those we despise.

What goes around comes around - if not on earth, next life.

~•~

Some signs of good souls with soft hearts filled with noor or light:

Shedding tears when they say Du'a, when they sympathize,

When reading the Qur'an, when the truth they recognize,

When forgiving a fellow Muslim after some fights,

And when yearning for entry to Jannah Paradise.

~•~

More signs of true believers with tender hearts alight:

One: Willingness to join circles where they are inspired

To learn and share Islam, and serve Allah the Most Kind.

Two: Rest assured, they don't get jealous; they'll just admire -

Look up to sincere Muslims not attached to this life.

~•~

Third sign of beautiful souls with tender hearts alive:

Eagerness to do more than what they should do. They strive

To please Allah when opportunities they can find,

Like praying Salat Ad-Duha, Tahajjud at night,

And fasting Sunnah fasts like in Dhul-Hijjah day nine.

~•~

May Allah Al-Ghafoor forgive us for all those times

When we disobeyed Him when our Imaan wasn't high,

May Allah As-Samee' and Al-Haadi always guide

Us to the correct belief and path to Paradise,

And May Allah keep us from being lost and unwise. Ameen.

Poem: It's My Choice To Wear The Hijab And Niqab For Allah's Sake

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
📑 Despite having the choice to wear whatever I like,
From sleeveless and backless tops to pants that are so tight,
I choose to wear the niqab whenever I'm outside
And when I am in the presence of non-mahram guys,
Not to imply I'm an Arab nor to terrify
Fellow humans but to serve just Allah the Most Wise
Who doesn't judge our looks but sees our hearts - what's inside.
~•~
I'm not oppressed by staying modest. Yes, it's my right
To choose which of my body parts I can show and hide.
Fellow servants nearby - I don't want them judging my
Overall self and value according to my smiles
And whether my nose is long or my cheekbones are high.
Should we be asked how we all breathe, we could simply sigh:
Alhamdulillah you hear us talking. Don't you lie.
~•~
For Allah we dress modestly, and we're not obliged
To follow the fashion industry nor "be in style",
We're alive to please Only Allah through what He likes -
By obeying Allah's Laws as much as we can try,
Instead of impressing people - most with jealous eyes.
To us, the niqab and hijab nicely symbolize
Servitude to Allah and detachment from this life.
~•~

Note: Sharing Some Old Poems I Found Alhamdulillah

📱 Alhamdulillah while browsing around the net I found some of my old poems published on a number of websites where poets and writers from various countries can upload their creative writings. Many of these poems were posted when I was around 24 years old while my dear parents (Allah yarhamhuma. Ameen) were still alive.
Sharing some random facts/truths about me related to writing poetry:
Alhamdulillah writing poems became one of my hobbies when I was around 13 years old. At age 17 if I'm not mistaken one of my rhyming poems was published by "International Society Of Poets" and funnily my dear father (Allah yarhamhu. Ameen) had to pay for the award certificate with an expensive frame and trophy shipped from one of the countries in the West to Riyadh city that time.
By the time I was around 19 years old if I'm not mistaken I already wrote more than 300 poems Alhamdulillah and after several years I'd say I have written approximately more than 500 or 600 poems if you include the ones posted in some of my blogs etc. I know because I numbered many of them Alhamdulillah.
I prefer rhyming poems with fixed number of syllables per line instead of "free verse".
I recall how my husband and I, when we first got married, were considering starting a duet band (very cheesy, I know. And AstaghfurAllah Al-'Atheem) in which he'd play the guitar (yes he has a talent in playing the guitar like one of his younger brothers does) while he'd sing the so-called "nasheed lyrics" which I would compose for him but Alhamdulillah Allah the Most Wise inspired us to cancel that weird project and instead firmly believe that listening to music and composing nonsensical songs should be avoided as much as possible in Islam since they distract us from the more important matters like reading the Noble Qur'an and saying Du'a and Adhkaar frequently.
🌻 Inn-sha-Allah I'm offering tutorial classes via Google Meet conducted in English language for kids, teens and adults who are curious or willing to learn how to write rhyming poetry without needing the assistance of AI (artificial intelligence like ChatGPT and Gemini AI). The student can choose the timing when we're both available and the tutorial fee is just 250 php per session. Within 7 meetings Inn-sha-Allah they (Muslim or non-Muslim) should be able to learn how to compose their own rhyming poems without asking AI to construct a poem for them.

Poem: To Fellow Elite Muslim Wives Who Bravely Welcome Polygyny

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

📜 To the elite women blessed with faith and bravery,
Strong enough to patiently welcome polygyny:
Advice from one who's been a first wife for many years
To fellow Muslim wives who love with sincerity -
Stay firm for Allah and beware of those who envy.
~•~
If it's known in a neighborhood or community
That you advocate at-ta'addud so openly
And emphasize its virtues vocally, frequently,
Then expect online and offline loads of enemies -
Foes from those with delusions and insecurities.
~•~
Don't be surprised if some befriended you recently
Just to unfriend or block you after several weeks,
Since they felt offended by what you posted frankly
On marriage and loyalty, taking both seriously,
And how most divorcees are emotionally weak.
~•~
It's not a surprise either if some are scared to greet
You, especially if your confident energy
And integrity clash with their misery and greed.
They envy you apparently like disturbed monkeys
Resent contented lions and birds enjoying peace.
~•~
They're jealous - they must admit it, at least inwardly -
As their ugly manners and rudeness very loudly
Expose their discontentment and intense jealousy.
Stay unaffected by them and gladly don't copy
Their poor conduct and ignorance of polygyny.
~•~

Pinagmulan: Sahih Muslim 2664
Antas: Sahih (Tunay) ayon kay Muslim
