Tips: Five Toxic Habits To Avoid As They Could Trigger Stress Or Worsen Your Mood

๐Ÿ’ In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

๐Ÿ—’️ Five toxic habits to avoid, as much as possible, as they could trigger stress or worsen your mood:
1] Purposely neglecting your duties to Allah the Almighty while striving to constantly meet the demands and expectations of Allah's servants. Regularly not praying the obligatory prayers on time without a valid excuse yet ironically ensuring that you attend every faculty meeting, wedding and appointment punctually.
✅ Solution: Always live your life to please Only Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala without being affected by how Allah's slaves perceive you.
2] Aimlessly browsing around random posts on social media and resentfully stalking the accounts of people whom you dislike due to envy, or frequently watching vlogs which provoke unpleasant feelings of jealousy and discontentment with Allah's Qadr/Decree.
✅ Solution: If you don't feel comfortable at all around a particular individual online or offline, simply do not disrespect yourself by begrudgingly paying attention to their statements and actions which fail to inspire you to become a more productive Muslim. If you're crossing a bridge and heading towards a specific destination, you wouldn't allow yourself to be distracted by insignificant cracks and icky molds on the bridge - instead, you'd concentrate on your actual goal and continue walking.
3] Expecting everybody who notices you to treat you like a "celebrity" or VIP ("very important person") and feeling unreasonably offended when you're not receiving special treatment 24/7.
✅ Solution: Understand that the whole universe and people's lives do not revolve around you. Since all human beings have their own set of struggles, worries, trials, fears and problems to solve, not every individual who knows your name can come to your assistance or behave the way you'd want them to all the time. Let all disappointments and rejections train you to excel at being patient for Allah's sake and more forgiving towards your loved ones.
4] Forcing yourself to persist in doing something which you clearly cannot do, while the intention behind agreeing to such task is not to serve Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala but to actually appease His creation.
✅ Solution: Always rectify your niyyah/intention when doing anything. Do all good deeds as much as you can only to please Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala with absolute Ikhlaas (sincerity)
so you still earn rewards
Inn-sha-Allah for your sincere attempts. With wisdom know when to accept requests, when to comply with a person's commands, when to delegate, when to relax, and when to decline invitations.
5] Acting as if this ephemeral dunya is everlasting while remaining distant from Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala.
✅ Solution: Do not ignore the fact that this world is temporary. By behaving as though you'll "undoubtedly" exist on earth eternally, you may be a lot more prone to depression and making a big deal out of every single predicament than those who believe that each challenge or difficulty eventually has an ending.
Every day and night look forward to strengthening your connection with our Creator Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala.
Never quit learning more about Islam and benefitting from what can enhance self-development.

This is not the case for anyone but for the believer. If he goes through ease (or happy moments), he thanks Allah and it is good for him. If he goes through difficulty, he shows patience and it is good for him."
