May Allah the Almighty grant us more beneficial knowledge, accept our good deeds, forgive our mistakes, protect us from fitna, and join us with the righteous believers in Jannatul Ferdaus. Ameen.

Poem: Wear The Niqab For Allah As A Dutiful Muslimah

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 "Is she pretty? You've seen her face? How does she look like?",
"You must be so beautiful! I can tell from your eyes.",
"I bet you're so gorgeous if you resemble your child.",
"I'd never have guessed you're a hottie until this time.",
"Girl, you've got a cute face, so why keep it out of sight?"
~•~
Please understand we wear the niqab to serve Allah,
To obey His commands to be worthy of Jannah,
To follow the styles of the wives of RasulAllah (Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam),
To be a means of goodness not a source of fitna,
To be judged not by looks but our faith and persona.
~•~
I'd hate it if you'd compare my nose to this woman's,
Determine how fine I look based on my complexion,
Confirm I'm pretty if my face is well-proportioned,
Measure my worth according to outward appearance,
Or claim my face reminds you of a certain someone.
~•~
When women in niqab and abaya go outside
For work, for shopping, or to visit friends not nearby,
Indirectly they help men stay loyal to their wives
By preventing them from comparing how they look like
To their wives' beauty if they're guys with wandering eyes.
~•~
Again I emphasize that Allah is why we veil,
To level up our sense of modesty and conceal
The face when outdoors like a box safeguards a jewel,
As a blessing, not a distraction, to the people.
I don't care about fashion. Allah's Love matters more.

📖 It was narrated from Safiyyah Bint Shaybah RadhiAllahu 'anha that 'Aisha RadhiAllahu 'anha used to say: "When these words were revealed – “...and to draw their veils all over Juyoobihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms)” [Surah An-Noor verse 31] – they took their izaars (a kind of garment) and tore them from the edges and covered their faces with them."
Narrated by Al-Bukhari, 4481. The following version was narrated by Abu Dawood (4102): "May Allah have mercy on the Muhaajir women. When Allah revealed the words, “and to draw their veils all over Juyoobihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms)” [Surah An-Noor verse 31], they tore the thickest of their aprons (a kind of garment) and covered their faces with them."
📖 'Aisha RadhiAllahu 'anha narrated: "The believing women would pray the dawn (Fajr) prayer with the Prophet Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam. Then, they would return home wrapped in their mantles (long cloaks); they would not be recognized by anyone."
