💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 To that woman who seems to take pride in giving up
Loving the spouse whom Allah chose for her from above,
Ungrateful, impatient, so love was easily dropped,
Like a child that discards an unfinished lollipop,
And she regards herself as "ideal"... Breaker of knots?
~•~
So you're an "ideal Muslimah" if you just give up?
If you demand divorce when the journey gets too tough?
If you stop loving your spouse because he loves his job?
Coz he's not rich enough? Or the in-laws are too much?
Coz he's not perfect? Not your clone? What, to be exact?
~•~
If you sought joy through marriage, you already messed up.
Marriage doesn't assure that in life there won't be probs.
In fact, when you marry, expect trials and mishaps.
Marriage is a gift with many tests you aim to pass,
Like swords need consistent care to ensure they don't rust.
~•~
FYI, once you're divorced, did you know this or not,
In Islam you can remarry twice, resume the pact,
Forgive each other for Allah's sake and start from scratch?
This shows the virtues of loyalty, not giving up,
Patience and contentment with the blessings that one has.
~•~
Not condoning abuse. Just warning against "fake love"
And informing you that love can't last if these you lack:
Sincere niyyah to marry and help your other half,
Sabr and empathy, specially when times are rough,
And awareness your husband ain't a bank nor robot.
