๐ In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
๐️ Question: As an INTJ personality type, how would you react to insults and criticism?
๐ Answer:
1๐น If the supposedly offensive remark is true, I'd agree with them, confirm they have a point, and acknowledge the fact that they also aren't perfect.
๐จ️ For example, if someone says: "Your room is nasty, I'm not joking."
My response: "You're right. It's an absolute mess. I'm waiting for the ideal time to start cleaning." or "Yes, I can see that.
Inn-sha-Allah one of these days I'll try to clean it up."
If they ask "When?" I could say "As soon as you cleanse your heart from impure characteristics like arrogance and jealousy" or "when Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala decrees that special moment."
2๐น If the insult isn't true at all, and it's obvious that the critics are lying about me, I'd feel nothing, indifferent, and unaffected. I'd probably be laughing at them from inside, finding it amusing how they're audacious enough to assume they know me while in actuality they don't.
๐จ️ For example, if someone says: "Liar, you only love your husband for his money."
My reaction would be: "Whatever. If you insist on misjudging me according to your little fibs, ignorance, and fabricated jokes, so be it. At least my "lies" aren't as abominable as the false claims of a delusional atheist whose ability to analyze logical concepts in Islam was overshadowed by his immeasurable insecurities and gigantic ego."
3๐น If the "insult" or disrespectful conduct didn't make any sense, I'd confidently walk away from the toxic individual, stubbornly ignore them, or ask them something like "Are you okay? Are you going through some tough times lately that you desperately need to spread your sadness with others so you're not the only person who's emotionally suffering? Shall I help you search for a spouse on a matrimonial website so you won't be insecure anymore and you can finally stop misbehaving? But then again, who'd want to marry an obnoxious bully whose self-hatred compels them to be gossipy and troublesome?"

๐ Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The strong believer is more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, but there is goodness in both of them. Be eager for what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not be frustrated. If something befalls you, then do not say: 'If only I had done something else.' Rather say: 'Allah has decreed what He wills.' Verily, the phrase ‘if only’ opens the way for the work of shaytan."
