Note: Three Likely Reasons Why Some People Are Not Affected By The Evil Eye

๐Ÿ’ In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
๐Ÿ’Œ On the day after our wedding, some time in Shawwal 2006, I remember my husband strangely suffering from fever or high body temperature, when he seemed okay, energetic and cheerful the other day. When I was a teenager during our travel to Indonesia at an Islamic institute, there was a crowd of female students sitting around me, staring while some of them were telling me how pretty I looked. My late mom (Allah yarhamha. Ameen.) and I were in the females' section at a Masjid so we temporarily took off our niqab/face-veil. Immediately the next day I had fever and pimples or multiple rashes around my face. That took place when I was a "music addict", occasionally drew sketches of living beings which Muslims aren't supposed to draw, and wasn't religious so much so that I didn't know the virtues of saying the morning and evening Adhkaar unlike now Alhamdulillah.
The evil eye isn't a myth. It is real. A lot of individuals from different cults even believe that it's not a joke, which is why some non-Muslims wear talismans, amulets or special accessories designed to safeguard themselves from witchcraft, voodoo spells and negative energy. Such methods of shielding oneself obviously contradict the tradition of the noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam and since many of these self-preserving practices involve requesting assistance from jinn or demons, they could ultimately lead to kufr/disbelief or shirk/polytheism.
Some people though, in spite of being exposed to the public a lot, don't show any signs of being affected or badly impacted by the evil eye. For instance, a number of celebrities, bands, politicians, instagrammers, or famous YouTubers, despite performing several times on stage, being interviewed in front of a large audience, or broadcasting their lavish lifestyles through frequently uploaded photos and vlogs... they still seem fine and unaffected by 'ayn or evil eye which usually occurs when an intensely envious person emits jealous vibes or hatred towards those whom they envy.
๐Ÿ“‹ Three possible reasons why some people are immune or incapable of receiving any impact from someone's evil eye:
1] Their trust and faith in Allah the Almighty are very high. They regularly say Du'a, as well as the morning and evening Adhkaar, and effectively shield themselves with steadfast Taqwa, frequent recitation of Ayatul Kursi along with other verses and chapters from the Noble Qur'an. Plus they try their best for Allah's sake to abstain from sins which can make humans more vulnerable to shaytan's deception and cunning tricks.
2] Allah the Almighty knows best. Since the evil eye may generally be transmitted from dark souls or individuals whose hearts are spiritually impure (due to jealousy, suspicion and wishing evil on others), their effects cannot reach similarly dark souls or hearts that are already broken, disturbed or spoiled. If you were to hold two magnets with the negative sides or north poles pointing towards each other, you'd notice that the two resembling points cause an instant repelling reaction. No matter how much you try to place the same poles of two magnets near each other (blue side with blue, or red with red), they quickly repel one another because their energy is completely identical, just as fictional zombies won't run after other zombies and vampires normally don't attack fellow vampires.
3] They likely protect themselves from bad energy by relying on magic spells, incantations or jewelry specially worn to counteract and prevent the evil eye. This way of protecting oneself must be strictly avoided, to stay away from kufr/disbelief and shirk/polytheism.
Of course nothing on earth can occur unless Allah the Most Wise destines it. While the evil eye may overtake Allah's Qadr/Decree (for example if it was decreed that a certain man would live until his late 50s, his vulnerability to the evil eye or negligence with regard to his faith/Imaan may shorten his lifespan so he dies from a car accident before his preordained age), the negative impacts of the evil eye come with a reason - to remind us, as Allah's servants, to:
1] Keep trusting Allah the Most Loving, remembering Him day and night with humility as many times as we can.
2] Stay away from pridefully showing off what Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala gave us, as if we're the ones who invented them, unless displaying them and helpfully informing others about them (while remaining grateful to Allah the Almighty) are done for a good purpose.
3] Continue striving to be worthy of Jannah Paradise where no evil eye nor envious souls can steal anybody's happiness and sources of perfect joy.

๐Ÿ“– Ibn Abbas RadhiAllahu 'anhuma narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu' alaihi wa sallam said, "The evil eye is true. If anything could outrun the decree (Qadr/Destiny), it would be outran by the evil eye. When you perform a ritual bath, wash well."

๐Ÿ“– Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Take up your shields." They said, “O Messenger of Allah, is the enemy present?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "No, rather your shields from the Hellfire are to declare the Glory of Allah, the Praise of Allah, there is no God but Allah, and Allah is The Greatest. (Say 'SubhanAllah', 'Alhamdulillah', 'Laa ilaaha ilAllah', 'Allahu Akbar') Verily, they (Adhkaar) will come on the Day of Resurrection as saviors and guardian angels, and they are the ‘righteous deeds everlasting.’" (The Noble Qur'an 18:46)
