Note: Can A Woman Accept A Muslim's Marriage Proposal Only If He Agrees To Never Remarry For As Long As She's His Wife?

Ÿ’ In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
Ÿ—’️ Allah the Almighty knows best.
] When a woman, whether single or widowed, receives a marriage proposal, she can inform her father, brothers, or uncles to place a condition that she will accept the man's proposal only if he promises to never remarry for as long as she is his wife. If he breaks his promise in the future, it's up to her to ask for a divorce if being in a polygynous marriage weakens her faith/Imaan.
] If a woman didn't make it a condition for her husband in the very beginning to avoid remarrying in the future or it would prompt her to leave him, she has no right to prevent him later from being married to a second, third, and fourth wife, because Muslim men are allowed to be wed to up to four wives if they're financially capable of taking care of a large family for Allah's sake.
] It is wrong for a Muslim female to demand any man to divorce his first wife or abandon his other wives so she can accept his marriage proposal. Talaaq doesn't lawfully take place if the man did it unwillingly or he was coerced to divorce at the request of some relatives or outsiders.
