📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: The Prophet Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam visited the grave of his mother and he wept and made others around him start weeping. The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, “I asked my Lord (Allah the Almighty) for permission to seek forgiveness for her and He (Allah) did not give me permission, then I asked my Lord (Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala) for permission to visit her grave and He gave me permission, so visit the graveyards. Verily, it is a reminder of death."

📖 Ibn Mas'ud RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "I prohibited you from visiting the graves, but visit them now. Verily, they will weaken your attachment to the world and remind you of the Hereafter."

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Whoever follows the funeral of a Muslim, in faith and seeking reward, and he remains with it until the prayer (Salat Al-Janaaza) is offered and the burial ceremony is finished, then he will return with two great rewards. Each reward (Qeeraat / (Qiraat) is like the size of mount Uhud. Whoever offers the funeral prayer and returns before the burial, then he will return with one great reward."
