๐ In The Name Of Allah, The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
๐️๐ Imagine the people you meet as items for sale at a supermarket or grocery store. Although all of those products may be in good condition, you'll realize that you won't be interested in purchasing every single one of them for the following reasons:
1] You can't afford to buy them at the moment.
2] You don't really require them for now. There are other things which are more important.
3] You've tried them before and you didn't enjoy the experience, or they remind you of someone or something that's unpleasant in your opinion.
4] You could be slightly curious about them until you admit they're not intriguing enough to hold your attention.
5] You were too distracted or walking too fast that you unintentionally overlooked them.
✅ Lesson: Even if you're one of those kindhearted believers whom Allah the Almighty loves and guides, there will always be a number of individuals who are not eager to connect with you because:
1] They assume beforehand that you'll instantly reject them, or they believe they're not up to your level. Low or lack of confidence causes them to feel as though they are "not good enough" for you.
2] They're too focused on some tasks or too emotionally preoccupied to even think of befriending you, or they can't see any purpose in trying to network with you.
3] Your name or presence reminds them of somebody who mistreated them in the past. Maintaining a cordial connection with you would make it difficult for them to move on from previous emotional scars.
4] They perceive you as too different and unrelatable. Not having a sufficient number of similar goals and interests, particularly if there's an obvious language barrier, can lead you both to feeling mutually uninterested in becoming close friends.
5] They simply didn't notice you or they were unable to recognize the merits of starting a friendship with you.
It's not your fault that some souls on earth can't reciprocate your efforts to get acquainted with them. Striving to patiently accept what Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala decrees and doesn't destine is part of being a Muslim.
