๐ In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
๐ Three disgraceful wrongdoings you must avoid for Allah's sake, as a Muslim, even if you've decided to stop being friends with some individuals who proved to be untrustworthy:
1] Any gift or amount of money which you gave them sincerely to please Allah the Almighty should not be given back to you. If you gave a former friend some Islamic books, accessories or modest garments etc. it's not right in Islam to demand that they return those items to you even if they did something unacceptable in the past. Move on for Allah's sake and let Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala deal with them.
2] Any secret which they entrusted you with or confidential information they told you when you thought you were friends mustn't be spread to others in the form of spiteful ranting or gossip. If you've truly moved on from a broken friendship with someone who's toxic, you wouldn't bother mentioning that person's name a lot nor disclose the secrets they shared with you because you basically don't want anything to do with them in the future.
3] Even if they gossiped about you numerous times, don't insult yourself by imitating their lousy lack of good manners.
Trust that Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala will deal them justly for their immature conduct of badmouthing you often, while you've already moved on.

Do not backbite the Muslims nor seek their faults. Whoever seeks their faults (searches for their mistakes or publicizes their flaws), Allah will seek his faults. And if Allah seeks his faults, He will expose him even in the privacy of his own house."
